My DD5 has declared yesterday that "the only thing she want to do when she goes to MK next month is Dumbo and Belle's story time." I know about Dumbo being very crowded---I plan to hit it the first thing in the morning. But I am not sure at all about the Belle's show. I hear that it takes place in a small plaza that accomodates very few people at once. Does that mean we need to get there well before the show time? If so, how long before? Thanks in advance.

Depends on crowds. I have been in Peak, Value and Regular. Sometimes, we have walked up after she has started and still been able to get in and hear the story. Others we have been there 30 min before to make sure we got in. There is limited seating, but you can stand in the back. Belle invites members of the audience to paticipate and, when I have been, she usually picks kids from the back or middle - not the front. Also, depending on time, she sometimes stays for a few minutes after to take pictures and sign autographs. She usually meets the kids under the tree by the back wall. So if your DD wants to get picture/auto then you may want to try standing back near the tree.

Hope you have a good time and can get in to see her. It is really magical.:smooth:

There is a schedule for the times, but I cannot locate it at the moment. We went off peak (in May) and my DD, 4 1/2, was picked to participate. We did not sit in the front, but they did pick one girl from the front and the rest from the middle and back. She played Cogsworth, and (needless to say) Cogsworth is now my favorite character from Beauty!

It was alot of fun and I can't wait to do it again. Also, at the end (we were at the first show of the day) Belle stayed and signed autograph books!

Where does it take place?

In Fairytale Garden. The entrance is across from Cosmic Rays, behind the Enchanted Grove refreshment stand, down the walkway from Cinderella's Castle. If you follow the left hand sidewalk on the side of Cinderella's Castle as you are leaving Fantasyland, you will see it on the left hand side.

It really is fun, so hope you can catch it.

Thanks, guys. I am going to do it for sure! We will be doiung luch at the castle, so hopefully we can stop by there right after our lunch. That way I can probably drag my DH and DS8, because I know they need a little rest before they ride Space Mountain!
