we go in the quiet season and Belle is always out alot of the time..she wears her gold dress ... never seen her in anything else to be honest. Aurora on the other hand only saw a glimpse of her but the year before (march 06) we met her and she was in a blue dress.
Apart from a show they used to hold in Fantasyland during the Christmas season, I have only ever seen Belle in her gold dress ~ and it is a really beautiful colour too.
I was there in June. The Princesses (and their respective princes) made regular appearances at the stage next to the castle (on your way around the castle on the Discoveryland side). Ask at the desk inside the City Hall for the schedule of who is appearing that day. There was a line that took about an hour for us. But everyone was having fun watching the princesses. Here's the trick. They were rotating in pairs about every 30 minutes. So whoever is there when you get in line may not be there when your turn comes up. We were there on Fri-Sun. I don't know if they change the routine during the week, or for different seasons.
BTW, Belle was in gold (but without the Beast) and Aurora in Blue (but that probably could change, too). They were cool-weather costumes, too. Notice their shoulders were covered. Also saw Ariel and Jasmin. Another day, we saw Cinderella and Snow White, but didn't get the photos.
We were there Mon-Fri last week and didn't see any princesses. Granted, we weren't particularly on the look out for them, but though we saw lots of other characters, no princesses. It would definitely be worth asking at City Hall rather than leaving it to chance if it is important for you to see them. My daughter would have liked to, but it was low on our list of priorities.
Hello...wish I'd found this site long before now!!!
We are just back from our first 'family trip' to DLRP and it really was magical!!
With regards to the Princesses we only seen Jasmine & Snow White for the meet 'n' greets at the Castle Stage! We queued once (over an hour) to see Snow White and my DD (6) burst into tears when she eventually got to meet her! Bless!!!!
All the princesses featured in the wishes parade though. Belle was in her gold dress and Aurora was wearing pink!
I'd upload some piccies but I don't know how to?!!!
It was a little chilly, but I was surprised at the warm costumes. I was fine in a short-sleeve shirt.
Although in the afternoon parade they all wore different costumes, including Aurora in pink and Ariel in fins and shells, and the Beast made an appearance. Here are a few of those photos (not the best view of some of them)...
the princess dress are so beautiful arent they think some of them are the best costumes lucky ladys who job it is to dress up as them all day id love toy do it
what time of year are you going?
because in the winter there's Belle's Christmas Village so there's always meet and greets after that which is lovely! very magical
at easter also there's loads of really great opportunities to meet both aurora and belle in fantasy land, near the castle
good luck with your quest!
xxx
oh p.s whenever ive met belle she's always been in her blue dress...and sometimes she has gaston and/or the beast with her.
A really good way to see the Princess characters apart from the parades is to go to the Princess character meal at Auberge de Cendrillon. WE saw Snow White and Prince Charming heading to the meal. They did not stop for photos and autographs as they were heading for paying customers
