Bell Hop Service

I have a question about bell service, we are staying at POP and sionce it will only be myself and husband we won't have a lot of luggage, probably just two suitcases. For anyone that has stayed at POP do you have bell service bring your luggage to your room or do you carry it yourself? If we decide to use bell service how long does it take for the luggage to arrive in your room? We will not be using Magical Express but using a towncar service. This is the first time we have stayed at a value resort so I am not sure what to expect. Thanks for any help

The value resorts can take several hours to get your luggage to you. I have always kept mine with me when I check in and then lug it to my room myself. In fact, I've done that almost every time I have stayed in WDW. Since there are always several of us, I check in and the rest stay with the bags in the lobby area. Now, if you get checked in and your room isn't ready, that's a different story. I then leave my bags with bell services and pick them up when the room is ready.
