Beirgarten or Rose and Crown?

Which do you think is better for dinner?

Never had Rose and Crown, but we love Beirgarten!

I've never had Rose and Crown for dinner. I had lunch there. I loved it! So i would say go for it!

We love Biergarten. IMHO, it is at its best during dinner time.

R and C is good, but I'd go with Beirgarten as first choice.

We really like Rose & Crown but didn't care for Beirgarten (food was cold). I will say that Biergarten is very entertaining and a neat place to see.

We've been to both several times. I have to go with the Biergarten. Although we enjoy both places, we have more fun at the Biergarten and the food is a little better.

I don't find much on the R&C menu that appeals to me, but there are lots of good things to pick from at Biergarten. Plus the performers are fun.

The one thing that was a little strange for me the first time I went was that, as a party of two, we were seated with others since the tables seat something like 8-10 people. When we were seated there was another couple at the end of the table. We tried saying "hi" but they obviously wanted nothing to do with speaking with other people at their table. A little while later a fun group of middle-aged women showed up and it was much more enjoyable after that.

Definitely Biergarten. Our last meal at R&C was horrible. The dinner menu has become very limted and the food quality has deteriorated in the past couple years. I've been planning our next trip and DH's only dining request was to NOT go to R&C.

Stinky, I can understand that. If that couple was rude, that's another matter. But if they weren't talkative, that's understandable. My family is like that. We just really would rather talk amongst ourselves, we'll say hi to other people but that's it.

After a long day in the park, most people are tired and just want to relax and stuff their faces. So don't take it personal.
