After reading quite a few posts with various complaints about Disney World experiences, I just wanted to add the easiest tip of all...be thankful that you get to visit!

I have quite a few friends who have never experienced the joy of watching their daughter's beaming smiles while sitting in the Bippity Boppity Boutique chair, have never seen their kids come to tears when they find out they get to go or have never danced with Mickey Mouse at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party....etc.....

I'm not saying that people don't have valid concerns, I'm just saying remember to be happy and enjoy the magic.

I'm thankful that Walt Disney World is SOOOOO wonderful that we all have learned to expect perfection and they usually deliver.

Enjoy your trips everybody!!

Thank you. :)

Sometimes its nice to just be happy and enjoy the moment.

You are sooo right!!!! To think of my kids precious faces the first time they saw the castle, is something I will never forget!

I know exactly what you mean!

I'll never forget for the rest of my life the look on my daughter's face when she visited Bippity Boppity Boutique. She was five at the time and had a smile and beam in her eyes that's hard to explain. She was so happy it brought my mom and I to tears.

I agree with you both! When each of my two older children had their Disney "moment" it was the best feeling (for me) in the world!
My youngest has never been and I can not wait for the day she sees the castle in person for the first time!

:goodvibes

You are so right! Even the excitement leading up to the trip is worth every moment. My youngest DS (who is 14) still gets a big smile when I tell him how many days left until we go. Just that smile makes me so thankful that we are able to go on a trip like this.

AWESOME!!! :thumbsup2

I actually have a picture of my daughter, three at the time , now five, the first time she meet Winnie the Pooh at Animal Kingdom. :cloud9:The look on her face is priceless and I'm glad we have a picture to always remember that moment. We went back last year and we are going again in May. I hope to have some more of those magical moments!

I agree!
My dgd is 2 1/2, and I am trying my hardest to save for a really nice trip in about 2 years. I can't wait, and neither can the rest of my family, to watch her face! She already knows Mickey and Minnie and of course the Princesses.
(On a side note, I know people who seemingly have never been on vacation....anywhere :sad1: so I thank my lucky stars I have been on a few!)

Thank you! It is nice to be reminded of that. We tell our kids that all the time. Not everyone gets to go to Disney and we are so thankful that we are able to go. We are so thankful that we are taking our 17 yr olds best friend. She has never been and might not have ever gone. She was so excited when we asked her. We go in a few weeks and we can't wait to see her face. My husband and I are thankful that our 17 year old daughter still wants to go away with us and her friend. We all love Disney!

Thanks again!

Oh you make me get all teary eyed. You are so right. I am so thankful for all of the wonderful memories we have as a family in Disney World. I would not trade our time in the parks together for a million dollars.

:goodvibes I so agree with you. We took our daughter for a day when she was 2 1/2 (she turns 4 this Sunday) and she STILL brings up how Goofy chased her and ran in circles when we had the Visa meet and greet. We're going again in May, for a full week this time, and she has no idea. I cannot wait to see her face when we tell her. We booked BBB this time around and she's going to love every second of it. I'm thankful to have the means to take her and to be able to experience my favorite place through her eyes.

You are so right! I say this all the time - and it was especially nice to see so many other people agree, because when we were walking through AK the first week of January watching my daughter's BFF's face as she took it all in for her first visit (she turned 18 that trip), we overheard a couple arguing, then two teenage girls passed us saying loudly so the couple could hear "How can anyone fight in Disney World - it's the happiest place on earth, and you should not be allowed to argue!" ;)
