Day Four Part Five
Our last night in the parks!!
Oh No!! Say it aint sooo!!!! Not the last night of our trip, but our APs are expiring and we planned to spend our last couple of days exploring things outside the four parks.
We heard a crazy myth that there were other things to do at WDW and Orlando, other than the four theme parks themselves <GASP> Where will we spend our last night? Why, MK, of course!!
We waited until later in the evening to go back, because it was so hot, so we went straight to Caseys for our supper.
The most expensiv
errr
.I mean, Delicious dogs around These guys were walking through while we ordered. Too funny. Everyone just stepped aside and let them through.(Sorry about the random leg!)
We lucked out and got a table by the door, inside the AC but close enough to hear the music outside. It was great!!
After going over to pick up FP for Space Mountain, we went back to Main Street for last minute shopping. No luck on picking up the last print for my collection! Just another reason to come back to WDW.
Like we really NEED a reason.
We hopped on the train at Main Street and Em and I got to do one of our favorite things, waving at people from the train!!
I kept a eye on Lynn to make sure she used ALL her fingers.
And people, if someone waves at you, wave back!! Its WDW for goodness sake! You are never gonna see these people again!!
Random train pictures.
We disembarked at Frontierland to head over to Tomorrowland. It was our last night so we took the long way. Of course I had to take a moment to mourn the fact my favorite ride was closed.
It looks like Im praying, but its crying.
Isnt it beautiful in the twilight?
It was a beautiful night in MK. The crowds were light and we let Chuck have some time to work his camera magic.
Cant you just imagine being there now?
Ever wonder what the three of us do while Chuck is taking his gorgeous shots?
Fussing? Evil looks? Pretending that you didnt see me stop, and continue walking on?
This one is mine. Im trying to be artsy.
Over in Tomorrowland, we were able to hit Buzz Lightyear, TTA and Space Mountain. We had bigger plans later in the week for Wishes so we just enjoyed ourselves walking around one of our favorite places. Em loves Winnie the Pooh so we hopped on.
Hi Piglet!
On our way into Haunted Mansion, we found yet another cool place to watch Wishes! In the queue for HM!
You are barely able to hear the music, but the view was different, and of course the beautiful river is behind us. Another Wishes alternative!!
On Haunted Mansion, I rode with Jake and he spotted a hidden Mickey we hadnt seen before. In the graveyard scene, look for the grim reaper inside the crypt. Let us know if you see it. We rode again so Jake could show Chuck. We wandered around, going in and out of shops and just enjoying. It is my favorite kind of night!!
We climbed the Swiss Family Tree House and Chuck found even more photo ops.
Its almost time for MK to close, but we are gonna stay as long as we can. No line at Aladdins Flying carpet. We are on it. (not me, Im shopping!)
I cant believe the night is over. After a slow walk down Main Street, MK says goodnight to us.
Of course, this is where we go back, shower and fall into bed. Not Quite.
Back at the Pop, our bathroom light is out!! It is really dark in there and hard to shower in the dark.
With the curtain there in the little go-between, showering with the door open aint that big of a deal
..its the other stuff Im not eager to share with the Old Famila
were close
just not freakishly close (if you know what I mean) I called housekeeping, but she told me someone had to come all the way from the Beach Club to fix it. I told her to wait until morning. Wed make due. So Chuck gets a chair and attempts
ATTEMPTS? to fix it. After some wiggling, it comes on, which now that I think about it, its a good thing
.Hmm
so I got it to work.. sounds like more than an attempt to me. Anyway, we get our showers and prepare for a family first. We are sleeping in tomorrow!!
Where else but WDW do we go and push ourselves to our physical limits, touring the parks and staying out late only to get up at the crack of dawn the following morning (at a time that if we were waking up for to go to work, we would gripe about it all day) only to do it all over again
..It was strange to sleep in and hear everyone around us start to get up and begin their day playing in the parks (I hate them!)
