Day Four Part Two
We hadnt been in this theater before. It was very nice and air conditioned!! There were lots of CMs posted to show you where to go. They asked us to go all the way to the end of the row, so we did.
We are good tourists. The people behind us just stopped in the middle and everyone had to walk around them.
How rude! The view was great no matter where you were. I hate when people do that!!
Me to! And I also hate it when they scrowl at you when you accidentally step on their feet.
No doubt what we were there to see.
A man from Lucasarts
(we're not worthy, we're not worthy!) came out and explained how they came up with the idea and gave us a lot of background into what went into making the movie. Jake loved it!
They had a face character for the new padawan featured in the movie, Ahsoka. She came out and demonstrated her lightsaber
(her mad lightsaber skills!). She was way cool. Then they showed us the sneak peak and everyone cheered. Our family is excited about it. Although we will wait a few weeks until the crowds thin out to see it.
Back out into the heat!! It was blazing that day. Our fastpasses were due for Toy Story Mania so we ventured over hopefully. Hurray, they were letting people in!!
The inside of the queue and the ride were not at all how I pictured them.
I do have to point out that we missed the bulk of the que line because we were fast passing it! It was very bright and much like a childs room. I guess it was so different that Buzz Lightyear where I always run into things because my eyes adjust too slowly. I did have some concern about the special needs crew. There were a ton of steps!
Right as we got to the top of the last staircase, the ride went down again!!
{okay, in your best dramatic voice}
Noooooooo!!! We did get an upclose view of how they handle it. If one of the ride vehicles is acting up, there is extra track so that the vehicle can be removed at a certain point and a new vehicle added.
That was sooo smart. Here is the ride vehicle.
Not us. Sorry I took your picture, strangers.
She does it all the time (Psstt
its a problem, but we are working on it)
See how bright and open it is.
Heres Em about to battle Chuck.
The games themselves are fun, but my favorite part was moving between the games. It felt almost like the teacups, but not enough to make you sick.
Heres the final score.
We all loved it! On our way out we got fastpasses for later, just in case we were still around that long. We werent.
It was 11 am in the morning and the fast pass return times was 3:30
.that should show how popular this ride was.
Its almost time for our ADR so we are off to the SciFi café!!!
WoooHooo!!! I loves me some SciFi Café!!
