Been away at my Dad's for a week and I can't believe you're nearly off to WDW
I love the video Jake made it was brilliant and all the crafty stuff you're doing is great I especially like the T-Shirts you posted today, very smart.
Did I just see Chuck basking in his rightness........while ironing???![]()
I love the tshirts!! You guys are going to look so awesome in the parks. I can't wait to read about your trip.![]()
I am not ashamed to admit it!
My name is Chuck and I do the ironing!![]()
I especially like how Yoda is using the force to ensure that the transfers come out perfect!![]()
"May the starch be with you!"
I love the shirts!
Great shirts!![]()
Your stroll down memory lane was very nice!![]()
Is the Tie Dyed Cheesecake good? Sometimes it looks appealing to me, other times it looks like play-dough.
3 Days!!! 3 Days!!! It is absolutely zooming by for you!!!![]()
Is today a packing day for you?
Great pics from Pop! It's so much fun there!
I just found you and I'm glad I did!! Great videos, pictures of the day and t-shirts! You guys must be in the disney zone by now with only a few days to go! Can't wait to hear all about it. May the force be with you!![]()
Have a great trip!!!!
I did alot of packing yesterday and the rest will be Tuesday!!
Now is the time when I usually start to second guess all my plans. Do we have all the adrs we will want? Will we really be happy at the POP? Will it be crowded and loud? Will a drunk man fall into my lap on the bus?
We don't have a strict schedule, more like a park of the day and then see what we feel like. Will the children be happy? I know in my heart, that if I am happy and content with what we do, they will be as well (They really feed off of the mom, you know) so I've got to do alot of self talk before then to get myself into the right frame of mind. Is this only me?
Nope, I do it all the time!!! I was getting Connor's clothes ready this afternoon and started thinking about all of that...I think because it's Disney we want it to be perfect...and isn't it always no matter what happens?![]()
Ah, Ha!!! Gee, that somehow sounds very familiar!! I wondering what wise person has said something very similar to that in the past.....Oh, I know! ME!!!
I guess it is just a Mommy thing, because I know the moment I step foot onto property, I am content, and the kids are as well.
Even when we encounter folks that exhibit a less than Disney-like attitude we still manage to have fun....Like the rather large family that pushed their way in front of us on POTC, only to have one rather large family member totally freak out and try to crawl out of the boat just as we were going through the mist projection of Davy Jones (I think the quote was 'Oh heck ( edited - just use your imagination) No! I ain't get'n no water in my weave!).....I thought the kids were going to choke trying not to snicker. You just can't find entertainment like that!
And let us not forget one of our favorite sports inside the parks - melt - down countdown.
1pt - crying kid
2pts - kid in a full out, lay on the floor, kicking and screaming tantrum.
2pts. - adult meltdown (but fractions of a point are deducted for profanity or if there is alcohol involved)
1 - 2 pts.- teenager meltdown (has to be voted on by the group and also, the mere rolling of the eyes and snear DO NOT count as they could be considered a part of any teenagers normal day-to-day response.
