Another update tonight! The saga of tye dye!!!

Ooooh. I am intrigued. I have been debating whether or not to try those tye dye tshirts.

Love those Mousekeeping envelopes! I just made mine last weekend using a plain envelope and with a label on it. I'm looking for Disney stickers the next time I go to the store to decorate them a bit. I wish I had seen these!

I can't wait to see your tie-dye shirts!! I'll be experimenting with a bleach design later. Would you believe the boys actually WANT matching shirts. I thought the older 2 were a little past that. (A side note: My oldest just turned 16 yesterday!!! EEEK!!! That doesn't make me any older, does it?). Jared likes Jake's design that you used on your avatar. Have you thought about making shirts with that design?

But it does help make the time go by, doesn't it? I am at 10 days and have a feeling that I won't be able to do much of anything.

The funny thing is at work, I can think of about ten things I need to do, but when I get home all I want to do is Dis and dream about the trip!! BUT only 2 more days of work and I am officially on vacation!!!

It is easy adn fun, but messy. DEFINITELY invest in rubber gloves! Tye Dye is cute on shirts, not so cute on hands.

I can't believe Jared is sixteen!!! I didn't think he was that much older than Jake. No, the children get older, but we do not. I am stuck at about 33.

You are so lucky the boys want to match. In the past, I've had us matching the whole time, but this time only one day!! We did do some special tshirts for Star Wars weekend and I'll probably post those tomorrow. I didn't think of using the avatar. I love it!!

Looking forward to seeing your bleach design. maybe I can still get Chuck to match me.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: There is an awesome thread here on the Dis for making a tye dye Mickey head shirt with a spiral design. It has pictures and detailed instructions. We followed it step by step.

Time to Tye Dye!!

WE have gotten so many comments on our tye dye t-shirts on past trips!
Since we can't convince the children to stop growing, we had to make some new ones!

Here are our little shirt pods after they’ve been sitting all night. (That’s the hardest part, letting them sitting and not taking a little peak!)

Much to the chagrin of the neighbors, the best way to rinse them is right in the driveway! (I think a bit of our redneck is showing.)

Dising and Dreaming-- that sounds like a good way to spend a day. Much better than surrounded by books I can't read. I still haven't made a definite decision on which book to take.

Thanks! You should try them. They never turn out like I think they should, but I always end up liking them. It always kills me to have to wait over night.

Don't feel bad! We currently have a 'box O' Junk on our bedroom floor (I'm just waiting for Lynn to cut a flip over it in the middle of the night) AND 'Mt. Suitcase' in the middle of our living room where they brought down the suitcases this past weekend. - Of course the cats are used to us going on trips by now and now what Mt. Suitcase means, so they are starting to freak out!

Adding to the pin stash

On our last couple of trips, we have really gotten into pintrading. Especially Emily. She has an eye for the good ones.
So as soon as our trip was booked, Chuck ordered some pins for us to trade!! He uses pincastle.com and we have always gotten great pins.

I think it would be cool to go in May!! I know the crowds would be less, but we have to wait until the children get out.

It is so hard not to keep the pins, but it is fun to trade too. We have talked to some wonderful CMs in the past. It's a special part of the trip for us!
