DH and I are planning an adult only trip for our anniversary in February. We'll be in Florida for about a week and for my part of the trip, I want 2+ days at US/IOA (mostly Harry Potter). The rest of the trip will be deep sea fishing, touring the Keys, etc. We will fly in on a Sunday around 2PM and will fly out the next Sunday mid-morning. Planning to stay on-site at one of the deluxes. Would you suggest doing US/IOA at the beginning of our trip or the end?

early february is nice.
mardi gras and crowds won't happen until later in the month.

just depends if you want to end your vacation at a theme park or at the Keys, etc.

My DDs and I did a very similar trip last year. We did two and a half days at universal, then on to Miami and then down to the Keys. I think it was good to start with all the walking and hustle and bustle of the parks and end with nice relaxing days in the Keys.

That's what I'm thinking. So excited, booked today!

Have a great trip!! If you are looking for an AWESOME place to stay in the Keys send me a PM - it's not in Key West but it is fantastic!!
