Beginning of April Weather ?

Hello,

Has anyone every been to Disney the first week of April because that's when we are going due to dd's spring break time - I can't pull an 8th grader out of school unfortunately or trust me I would

I know it will be crowded but we are really good at navigating through the crowds for the most part but how is the weather? Is it warm enough to swim and is it warm enough night and day for shorts. I am actually hoping it's more comfortable than the other times I have visited. I have been the first week of May twice and in June so the weather was plenty hot.

April is beautiful!
It's definitely WARM, but not overbearing heat... and it's our dry season, so there's no worry of afternoon thunderstorms!

Spring break is popular in FL for a REASON... it's crowded, but GORGEOUS!

The weather at the beginning of April will be lovely; could be a bit rainy, hopefully not, but otherwise it will be warm enough from morning to night. Your biggest concern going that week, if you're talking about 2007, should be the crowds. That is the week leading up to Easter Sunday ... the parks will be packed, so be prepared and plan accordingly.

Oh it is wonderful!!!! Forget Spirngtime in Paris , this DF loves springtime in WDW!!! We go for DH and DS birthdays, second week in APril!
It is perfect for us! Its warm enough for swimming and not to hot for sweating!

My face would melt! Not pretty! Some evenings I wear long sleeves too! Its lovely perfect short sleeve and shorts!!!

Thank you all for your responses. My post is a bit misleading in that we are going the 2nd week of April which is the 6th through the 14th or 15th haven't decided yet b/c dd would have to go back to school the 16th unless she has a decent year absent wise and I left her stay home from school that day

I do believe the weather is going to be perfect and like you said warm enough but not sweating hot like it was May of 2005. It was in the 90's almost every day and felt like it was 100. I would rather have it that way though than cold b/c we love to swim and want to bask in the FL sunshine.

ANother added bonus is after April 15th the rates drop into the regular season. Epcot also has the Garden and Flower show with musical shows as well. It begins the week after Easter! Hope school year goes well too with you am saying prayers here for a good year as well!

Hey "The Fidge" I will send some prayers your way for a healthy and happy school year. Unfortunately I will be home by the 15th but I have been during the flower show before and it is so beautiful. I am so excited to just be going after the year we've had with crazy health issues with my dd but she will be okay and it's just part of life. Thanks to everyone because now I know the weather is going to be superb!!

hahahaha you got me!!!! How do you manage to always do that? You know me and the weather thing LOL. How was your cruise? Did you have a blast?
