Before our cruise

We are first time cruisers, I have noticed castaway club members get sent some kind of spiral bound information booklet before their cruise. Is there anything like this that gets sent to 1st time cruisers that are not members of the castaway club, or is that information booklet only for members?

First time cruisers will also get it, the only difference for Castaway Club members is the cover will say their CC level.

What exactly is it that is inside the booklet? Other then the luggage tags?

That booklet will have your itinerary, details about your cruise, some general information, maybe cruise documents (I don't remember) and your luggage tags. It will also have your info for for the DCL bus if you are riding it to the port or airport. So, take it with you. You should get it about 30 days before you sail.

If it doesn't arrive in time either, don't worry, they will give you one either before you get on the bus or at the terminal and will hand-write onto blank baggage tags. The only difference with those books is it won't be personalised to say what activities, etc you have booked.

We had to get luggage tags at port on first cruise. We never got booklet and didn't know better. If you do online checkin you can print signature page and that is your port document.
