Before a trip to WDW, do you ever get that "feeling?"

yeah, we're not returning until next January - a LONG way off. But, this last trip had us planning about 8 months out. I get the Disney bug all the time. Fortunately, though, I've been able to work on my disney website ever since we returned from our October trip. It takes a long time to transfer video clips to a website, but it sure is fun! Hopefully we'll have clips from all of the rides, etc. posted soon.

There's always something to keep us plugged-into disney. That's why I'm so thankful for boards like this one and folks like you!

It seems like planning for our upcoming trip has totally taken over me. It consumes every waking thought (and sleeping thought too!). I've even had dreams of messages on this board or something I read in one of the many planning books I have. I know my family thinks I'm a freak because that seems to be all that I talk about when I see them. It helps that my kids are excited. Every Saturday morning they'll hop in bed w/me and say "mommy ask us questions about Disney" and I'll ask them what they're favorite rides are and what they plan on riding when we're down there. Then we come downstairs and they want to watch one of the planning dvds I have on the parks while we eat breakfast. My DH is reaching his limit ("not another Disney video?!) He says it will be a while before our next trip (we were there last year as well). I told him last night that we will go again in 4 years (how will I ever get through that time?) But atleast I'll have something to look forward to. ISN'T IT JUNE YET??!!

I am that way all the time. My solution: I found the T-shirt Design thread on the Just for Fun: Creative DISigns forum. Now I spend my time between trips designing T-shirts and autograph books for my next trip. It's just another way to fuel my disney addiction. My family all looks great in our DIS t-shirts and we get lots of comments from people asking where we bought them.

I get the bug when our countdown hits day 60. For some reason that number kick starts something inside of me and all I do is plan plan plan. Today is day 39. This trip coming up has tension though with a terminally FIL. But I have been on the boards and also looking up info in books. Just cant get enough. DH likes to pretend he is on Soarin. He goes through the whole show. LOL

You know the one--you've planned for months, you've got everything just about where you want it, but now. . . . . THE WAIT!!!!! I'm in that mode. I can't get ENOUGH of Disney (again). I'm on the DIS, I'm on the Disney shopping website, I'm listening to all my CD's, I'm DREAMING about Disney--but yet I have 101 days to wait!!!!!! I started counting at 208--so I should be really happy (and I am). BUT--THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!!!!

Does this happen to other people too?? I would bet it does!!!

haha i started counting a year ahead of time the last time i went! it seems like that "wait" is longer than your actual trip when it's all over!

I know that feeling. Today is 90 days. It seems so far away. But, once we are there, I get the feeling like I can't believe we are here. And then time goes by way too fast once we are there.

I get that feeling all the time (I am hijacking my wifes name now)....Actually we have a while to wait (July) but I am already doing the " I am too tired to sleep" line every night....she is a little sick of it I think!
