Beers!!!!!!????

Lmao I was thinking the samething before i went but once i got there the mixed drinks were what i had 24/7 with more enjoyment then beer

You guys are great!! Before reading this my DH was hesitant to take the DC -
NOW!!
" I hope some of these guys are cruising with us!!"
4-25-04???

You have our vote for the micro brewery or beer tasting! Maybe they will cancell the wine tasting and upgrade to the beer!

Gosh, I wish that I had paid attention to the price. I think it was about $6, but don't hold me to that. That was at the ABC Liquors by Winn Dixies. If you can believe it, we ran out and went to OKW's general store and they had it there too! I know we paid a couple dollars more, but they had it in 12 packs. Glad I will have a rental car in May, because I am thinking about it already.:)

beetlemom, I wish I was cruising on the 4/25/04! Who knows what the future holds though. Tell him to get on the boards to do some chatting, he will surely find other beer fans.

eva, 6 bucks sounds like a pretty good price for a 6 pack. I think having the brewery in Tampa is helping to keep the prices down. I only live an hour from their "home" brewery and would pay the same for a six. Be sure to save some room in the rental car for the amber nectar:)

The beverage bag. Top layer. :)

Well the tea box was half full of Chocolate Stout. The canned tea was my 11 yearold's pick - she doesn't like soda.

There was also a few bottles of red wine.

Hey Zurg! Another Yuengling Lager couple here! My DH was born in Pottsville, PA! We are able to get in here in Dover in cans and were planning on taking a 12/pk, but it's just too heavy!
Have you seen Yuengling carried in Florida stores? I'm thinking it's not a real known brand in the south. Natt

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, Yuengling has a brewery in Tampa, and it is distributed in Florida. I know that it's available at the Publix in Cocoa.

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!

Way to go, Zurg! You get a big thumbs UP! You have proved to us mere mortals that beer can be carried aboard. Great pic!

I have a big, yellow heavy canvas beach bag with a shoulder strap that should do the job. Should be big enough to carry a case aboard.

Zurg, how big is that bag in the picture? Is it a soft side cooler? Where did you find it?
I thought our soft-side cooler would be big enough but you have set a new standard.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The bag in question measures 24Lx16Wx14H (not stretched to capacity) it is a duffle with 2 wheels....Zurg forgot to mention that while he went to park the car at the Radisson i had to lift the bag in question onto the xray machine.....i about threw my back out....

we purchased the bag at Walmart a few trips ago when we had more stuff leaving then bags...

Hey I'm not the one who said she wanted to stay at the DCL terminal and sent me back with the car.

Our cabin mousekeeping lady got us a nice big igloo cooler for the room to keep it all cold. :)

Zurg, you must have tipped your mousekeeper well for that cooler and service. Did you have to ask for the cooler?

We had asked for extra ice to help fill our small soft sided cooler we brought....she said that she would bring us a big cooler....I had never heard of that and was surprised when I found a regular size cooler shoved under the desk in the kids room....It was wonderful..

Well I have to put in my two cents. On our first Disney cruise 3 years ago, being virgins and all, we only brought on 1 case of Guiness with us. I asked Disney and was told that Guiness was not served on board. It was found in the Espn lounge but along with our case and the case we picked up along the way my husband drank the ship out of Guiness. Last year we were WELL PREPARED. We arrived a day early, shopped at the local food store, 8 cases of assorted beer, 2 cases of water & some Mikes hard lemonade we were off to see Shirley of The Perfect Gift. She was able to pack up all of our goodies and have them delivered to the ship for us. We didn't think we could walk through the terminal with all those cases. Shirley did a wonderful job!!!! Oh did I forget to mention the check-out girl when she asked where the party was at and we told her we were going on the Disney cruise.

Rule number one was when I was very young.

Never eat yellow snow.

Rule number two when I reached drinking age.

Never drink yellow beer ;)

And most of these beers are as yellow as they get. I guess these beers are like wine coolers, they are both starter drinks. People will eventually work their way up to the real stuff.

I do believe I will need to bring some good beer on board with me!!
