Best beer?? Where can I find it?? Going in July (staying at AKL) and it'd be nice to have some new beer experiences!!!

Try Tusker at Victoria Falls at AKL. It's pretty tasty. DH's favorite is still anything from the Rose and Crown... Also have a Moosehead at Canada. We were told that it's the only place to get Moosehead on draft.

We will always go over to Germany In EPCOT at least 3-5 times per trip, and get a draft beer to watch Illuminations.

My favorite passtime. Just a few examples:

Canada -- LaBatts and Moosehead -- go to LeCellier and ask for la fin DuMonde as a take out -- it's excellent.

UK -- Harp, Guiness, Stella

France -- 1664

Mexico -- Dos Equis

Germany -- Becks, Heffeweissen

Italy -- Perroni

There are more, but this gives you a flavor.

It's not a true vacation unless you're drinking.....some nice alcoholic beverages.....
:wizard:

And they have a beer flight at Raglan Road (at Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney). It was great, and I didn't realize I'd like Guinness as much as I did. I was too intimidated by how dark it is. By getting the beer flight, I could sample it without having to make a commitment on a full glass. :thumbsup2

Snap. I hit enter before realizing I wanted to comment on Big River Grille and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk resort. They also have a beer flight. If I find a place that offers a tasting with a beer flight, I'm all over that action. :)

I like the Kona Brewing Company beers that they have at O'hanas. The Fire Rock Pale Ale, in particular.

ohohoh...what's a beer flight?

Pardon the fuzzy photo. I took a picture of the Raglan Road beer flight.
Basically, a flight is a tasting of mulitple samples. The glasses are smaller
than a normal glass, so when you're done, you drink about the equivalent
of a full glass. I haven't tried the whisky flight, but Raglan Road offers that, too.
And I've done a wine flight in the Germany pavilion's wine shop.

Gee, I really sound like I've lived up to my trip report title.

We always go for a nice Bass or Harp in UK in EPCOT or Labatt in Canada. (even though we drink that at home)

The bar at AKL has some African beers--Casa, Tusker, and another who's name escapes me at the moment.
WDW seems to be doing a bit better with their beer (in the resort hotels) than previously. This last trip (which was last week:) I was able to find Newcastle, Sam Seasonal, Widmer Heffeweizen, Amber Bock, Blue Moon Anchor Steam and Sierra Nevada (among others) at the bars and restaurants.

Oooh....Blue Moon....my favorite

I'm just looking forward to trying all sorts of new beers. Nothing that I can find in a liquor store or bar here in SoCal......

I am glad to have brought in the beer drinkers of the community. I am to please.....

:cheer2:

My personal favorites ( as a home brewer and beer snob ) are Big River Grille and Brew Works on the boardwalk. Hand Crafted good beers with alternating seasonal beers. Aoso, the Germany Pavillion ESPECIALLY inside Biergarten where they offer much more choice than outside. ESPECIALLY Spaten Doppelbock ( a simply AMAZING beer ) that you can buy by the LITER ( think one huge beer stein that holds two pints! )

Best Beer?? You will just have to try them all and find out

Like most people have said I like the more unsual stuff that you can find in Epcot. I like to "drink my way around the world" trying and compairing all the different beers available. That is why we usually stay at the Epcot resorts so all I have to do is stumble home. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 :lmao:

The beer selection at WDW seems to dwindle with every year that passes. For a beer fan like me, it's tough to find anything unique. But as mentioned, Le Cellier continues to offer the Unibroue Belgian brews in bottles. I believe they still offer:

Fin Du Monde - Strong Ale
Maudite - Dark Strong Ale
Blanche de Chambly - White Ale
Trois Pistoles - Strong IPA

As Ntsammy said ... if you can't get a ressie at Le Cellier, see if you can get a bottle to go for the Fin Du Monde and Maudite.

I am a second vote for 1664 in France, another favorite of mine is at Ragland Road at DTD called Tucher. Its a really nice Wheat Beer. Ragland Road also has 1664 as well.:goodvibes

There is a beer at the african area in Epcot. The beer is called Beach Bum. And it is wonderful, especially on warm September day.!!!!!!!
