I signed up for a beer tasting on the Fantasy in February and my wife doesn't like beer. Is she still allowed to be there even if she hasn't paid? Thanks for any input.

They collect tickets at the door and the venue is closed except for those participating (paying).

If you buy your wife a ticket, you get twice the beer!

My wife just did the chocolate liquor tasting in Ooh La La on the Fantasy a few weeks ago. I did not do it I just sat in the back of the room and took a nap while the tasting was going on. You can ask when you go to see if there is room for her to just hang out in the back of the room. We did not get any tickets for any of the tastings we did. They have a sheet of paper and check you name and room number off.
Have fun :)

We got tickets for our tastings on the Fantasy in August 2018 - but no tickets on the Wonder in August 2019. Maybe it’s easier to update a list if people get added or cancel....

I've done numerous tastings with my wife, who doesn't drink. Never had a problem with her attending, but not drinking (or paying). Just tell them when they are putting out the drinks so they don't set up where she is sitting. The only possible problem is if there isn't enough seating. But I've never run into this in 5-10 tastings.

Thanks. That's good to know.

If I got a ticket and did not want to go, could I give it to someone else in my party that is 21+?

Yes...Did this on my last cruise...my new friend I met at a tasting on the 1st day asked me later in the week as his wife did not want to go and he could not cancel...I went no issues...I will say I knew the bartender doing the tasting as we had been at his previous one's so we joked with him as to why my name had changed...

I believe Tickets are a thing of the past...The person in charge has a list of who's signed up and checks you in when you walk in.
