Beer in Theme Parks?

Can you buy beer in mgm and magic kingdom? if so-where?

Beer is available in all Disney parks, except MK. MK does not serve alcohol at any location.

Like the last poster said, available in every park except MK. MK has always been a dry park. Disneyland Park in CA is dry to I think.

If you would like a drink while in the MK, hop the resort monorail to one of the lounges in the hotels. Some people purposely choose to dine in the resort restaurants during a MK day so they can indulge in an adult beverage.

Just to interject a point of fact, that's true, except during private "hard ticketed" events...Alot of folks enjoy the 999 haunts events just so they can have a beer/drink in the Magic Kingdom.

The reaon MK is a "dry" park is becuase Walt didn't drink.

Walt wanted Disneyland, and therefore Magic Kingdom to be somewhere that was for the family to go and spend quality time together, in a family type atmosphere. The only Magic Kingdom to serve alcohol is in Paris, because in Paris, people are used to having their wine, so concessions were made.

I'll never forget as a kid when we went to WDW, before we went to the Bush Beer gardens, and there they have a "hospitality" place, free beer!! LOL, I'll never forget when we entered the Magic Kingdom, dad saw "hospitality" and ran over thinking no wonder this is the "happiest place"!!

(he was disappointed, but got over it!!) Can you imagine the joy when Epcot opened?!!
