I am interested in the beer flight in the Rose & Crown restaurant. I have seen a picture of it but the glasses were not next to anything so I couldn't tell how large the glasses were. Are they super small? Can it be shared by 2 people if they are not into huge mugs of beer? Does anyone have any pics of the beer flight next to anything to show the size? And does anyone know the price?
This would be at dinner not lunch if that matters?

Much thanks for your help!:goodvibes

I had the beer flight at Rose and Crown last year. While not full beers, I would estimate they were probably about 6-8oz each.

I just had a beer flight at Biergarten in May. I think it was $12, and the beer glasses were about 6oz each. I hope this helps!

My husband did the R&C beer flight a few years ago and loved it. He was surprised by how much beer there was - said it didn't look like as much as it felt going down :lmao:

Imperial Beer Sampler - Rose & Crown, October 2008. Please don't ask me what beers we had, it's been too long.

From the labels on the tray--Guiness, Boddingtons, Bass, Stella (which isn't from the UK) and Harp--nothing you can't find in your local beer store. :sad2:

if you're looking for beer at Disney you can't find on your local shelves then you are looking in the wrong place. There hasn't been a beer yet that we've had somewhere at the WDW resort that we haven't been able to find locally, and it's not like we live in the most progressive beer city in the country.

Our attitude is find what you like and go with it - we enjoy most of the beers served at Rose & Crown, and at lunch that day sharing the sampler was a perfect choice for us.

Why would you need a beer flight at R&C? It's not like these are unusual beers you won't find anywhere else. They're some of the most common beers around.

Beer flights are good in places with an unusual selection, or brew pubs, where you want to sample everything because they're all unique. Not to choose between Harp and Bass...

it's perfect for people who are just beginning to expand their beer horizons and want to try something that's new for them without committing to a full 12 or 16 ounce pour.

Perfect! Thank you all! BTW its not that we need to try beers we never had before or can't get elsewhere. It is because we like to have a beer, can't make up our minds which one, like to try something new (to us anyway) and can share since we can't drink a huge mug.

And it looks cool!

The beer flight over at the Big River brewery -- actually not too far from the Rose & Crown -- is a better use of beer time... and the beer flight concept.
