Beer Fest?

Ok, that may not be the name - but I have heard about something like this going on at City Walk sometime in November. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and when it might be this year?

It is Beerfest, it's in mid November at CityWalk, and it's popular!

It's usually held right around the 10th & 11th, in that area...so this year it could be either the 8th and 9th or the following weekend. It is throughout Citywalk (outside) and there were over 150 different beers last year. You pay one price (advance tickets are usually a few bucks less) - around $20-25 and you get a beerfest cup and lanyard that you have to show you paid...and you just sample away! Each sample is 2oz. which doesn't seem like much, but it adds up! It gets VERY crazy by Saturday night, so it's best to hit it when it opens, rather than show up in the evening. There are also alot of different foods from the Citywalk restaurants that are available to purchase. They are smaller portions with smaller prices (as opposed to what they are on the menu). The $2 mini-cheeseburger in paradise was a favorite of mine 2 years ago!

Of course, you have to be 21 and have a valid drivers' license to participate. It's alot of fun, IMO and a good way to try some drinks you may never have tried...and some you'll wish you hadn't!

Oh I hope it is the 8th and 9th when we are there. DH is a beer king and would have a blast!
