Beer at SSR

Staying at SSR 10/29 - 11/2, usually stay at BWV, need to know where to pick up a case of beer for the trip. We are travelling to WDW via ME. Thanks for the help.

If you want a full case, I suggest you call a cab and head to the nearest ABC liquors (there is one not far from the main gate, so the cab fare should not be huge). SSR sells beer at AP, and I believe that a 6-pack is the largest quantity they offer...and as you can imagine, there is not a ton of selection and the price is $$$.

Artist Palette has beer.

There's an ABC store next to Winn Dixie on 535. At Crossroads make a left. Go down about 2 lights I think - on right - not far. Also, Goodings has beer but I would expect it to be more $$.

The last time we stayed at SSR we spent a ton on beer at the pool bar and AP. We did take a cab to get beer once, but I'm pretty sure we got ripped off by the cabbie. And that was still cheaper than AP. It's not that bad of a walk to the Hess station accross from Pleasure Island. It's way more reasonably priced. But this trip we'll have a car so I'm gonna have to remember where the liquor stores are.

They pick up what you tell them you want. We gave her our top three options. We had her shop @ the Super Walmart so we could get snacks and a disposable cooler at the same stop.

The Saratoga Lager is a must try, if you like lagers. and I LOVE my beer dark! Is a little pricey at AP but it is vacation..

It is a good and you're right it's a little pricey. $5/bottle. funny thing is they sell it in AP for the same price you get it at the pool bar. On second thought maybe that's not funny.
