Vero Beach's theming is perhaps it's greatest charm. The combination of treasure, citrus and marine life themes (sprinkled in with a little Disney, of course) makes the resort truly beautiful. From the moment you see the building as you cross the bridge to the colorful mural at check in you're taken to a Florida of a different era. Up to the wonderful Green Cabin Lounge with the old treasure coins all over and the beautiful map of Florida on the ceiling. AAHHhh, it's time for a cold one. Bartender, give me a WHAT!!!!!! Moosehead or Killians? What happened to that proper tropical brew Key West Sunset Ale??? I can even get it at the miniscule Gurgling Suitcase. Please fellow Vero Beach DVC'ers, write the President, your Congressmen or at least the VB Manager and tell them to please get a proper draft beer at the Green Cabin. No offense to Canadian beer lovers or fans of Coors Red, but while down in Florida once or twice a year I need to continue my mental health escape, and that means the whole trip.
Thanks for listening.

At last, a meaningful well thoughout thread with clear intent.

A tip of the glass to you, you make a great point.

Glad we got something to agree on of major importance.LOL.Believe me everytime I stop up there for a refreshment I put a suggestion in.So far no good.Maybe if it is brought up at the Annual meeting.LOLHave you heard of Old Crustacean?(Rogue Ales)That would fit in even if its from a brewery in OR.
You would think we could a better selection with a number of microbrews in FL.
