Beer at Disney?

I know it's a family vacation..but it's not a vacation if my husband can't have a few beers. Besides DTD and Epcot, does anyone know where he can get a beer? MGM?

You can get beer at Animal Kingdom and MGM, not sure if it is only at seated restaurants as opposed to Epcot where you can get it at kiosks..

The only place you can't get beer is MK; you can at all the other parks, and at the resorts. If you are spending a long day at MK and he would like a beer, you can go to one of the monorail resorts for food and drink and then go back to MK.

You can also enjoy a beer at your resort's pool as long as its in a cup or in a plastic bottle/can (no glass). The food courts at the resorts sell beer.

Yes , you can get beer at MGM. You can also get beer at most restaurants (except at the MK). I had a great african beer at Jiko last year. It was called Tusker and it was really good. All the resorts have beer also.

There's also beer at the boardwalk. Spent an afternoon watching Phila Eagles at the ESPN club and my DH and DD had quite a few beers there that day!

Big River Grill on the Boardwalk is a brewpub, with a selection of "fresh" beers.
And I second that recommendation about Tusker beer--pretty good!!!!

My DH insists we do the Hoop Dee Doo everytime we go, it includes beer with your meal if you want it.

There's a bar at the outside seating area at Tusker House at AK. IIRC it has several brands of beer.

Prime Time Cafe at MGM has a bar where you can get a drink without having dinner.

I second the Big River Grille and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk. Some of the best and freshest beer anywhere...

All the free beer you want at the mickey's back yard bbq. Also wine too. I am not too big on that stuff but my dh enjoyed the beer and the bbq.

It is also sold at the water parks. They have bottled beer, but it will be poured into a large plastic cup for you, we don't allow anybody to wander around with any glass containers.
