Been there NEVER going back

Old Town (near WDW)
Cracker Barrel
Shoneys
Any Six Flags
Branson

Wyndham Palms Resort outside of WDW
Absolutely disgusting and filthy, and poor customer service on top of that!
Timeshare owners beware....NEVER trade into or buy here! ICK!

IKEA. I was so excited to go there. What a letdown. Just not my style. Plus it smells like meatballs throughout the store, lol.

Marblehead Island, OH. Did not enjoy that week we spent there. It was a wasted week in my life that I will never get back.

Also, Jamaica and Nassua. Did not care for either of those places.

Roatan, Honduras. Stopped there on a cruise. Should have stayed on the ship.

Nassau was the place that we wished that we would have stayed on the ship. I'd go back to stay at the Atlantis, but I wouldn't leave the property.

Also, I promised my DH if we ever tried to book at WDW again and the only rooms available were offsite or in a value resort, we'd pick a different time to go. We really didn't like how far the All Stars were from everything and we like to go back to the room midday, so no offsite for us. Give me the BW any day.

While I wouldn't say I'd never go back...I have to say I agree with some of you about Pigeon Forge. I LOVE the smokies. My in laws own two houses up there and we go at least once a year....but their houses are about 10 miles from Townsend, so they're really in the mountains.

When we go, we spend most of our time in the mountains hiking and fishing. I've gotten to where I hate to venture out towards PF. The traffic is horrendous. I don't go on vacation to fight traffic and shop at the mall...I can do that at home.

There are lots of places like that all around the country, though. A lot of the Orlando/Kissimmee area is like that too. It's fine if you like to drive and shop and eat. We're just not into that very much I guess.

Las Vegas.

I may be the only person in the world but I hate the place.

BTW, I like to drink, party, and gamble.

Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park. At least I'm in no hurry to go back. Then again, I was seventeen when I went with my family. So my attitude was "Yeah, yeah, nice overlook...get me back to the lodge so I can watch TV". Or maybe it was only being able to travel 35 miles an hour.

Sulvang CA... Not my cup of tea. Mom and dad LOVE it. They went there on their honeymoon and took me when I was 8 or so. Just too slow and boring for me.

Las Vegas.

I would go back, but I don't like it nearly as much as 10-15 years ago. Too big, too crowded, too spread out.

Sicily in general because of the ridiculously high bridges EVERYWHERE and barely guardrails high enough to keep a car from going over the sides in the event of an accident. Palermo, Sicily.....I will NEVER again go to this city. It was the most stressful location ever. I thought the people here in Naples were crazy drivers.......Sicilians make the people of Naples look like Sunday country drivers! Not to mention the roads are so slick, they shine like glass. Now I see why nobody breaks there. You would end up sliding as if you hit a patch of ice. The water near the beach was the most beautiful tri-colored layers I have ever seen, but I will either have to see that somewhere else or just keep it in my memories because I will never go there again.

Oh and I forgot to add Cherokee, NC. I was never so upset at a cultural presentation. It was a really bad beach drag in reality with all those gift shops with the cheesy redneck souvies. Aside from one museum, a village replica and an overly priced authentic Indian souvie shop, this place screamed tourist trap that had nothing to do with culture or history.

I have to say I would never go back to Niagara Falls.

We went last summer after many years of wanting to go there. I am happy we finally went and it is a must see for everyone once in their lives. But it was expensive there and the area where we stayed (Clifton Hill) was very crowded and a major tourist trap. Very cheesy and this is coming from someone who loves Vegas! :teeth:

The Maid of the Mist boat ride was awesome and DH and my two older kids loved the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour. I certainly don't hate it at all, but for me once was enough and I really don't feel the need to ever go back.

Actually there's alot of places I've been that I was happy to see but don't need or want to go back. I guess there's so much I want to see I don't want to waste time going backwards. Only exception to that is Disney of course. ;)

Ah, we always used to stop in Solvang on the way up the coast to Pismo Beach. We'd stop at the Ostrich and Emu farm and then go get a danish. Yum. It is kinda boring overall though.

London (although I have to travel there on business regularly) :crazy2:

Yup, and definately when you are 8. The food IS great....

I really enjoyed watching Cash Peter's Stranded (on travel chanel) when he went there though. It was funny, cuz he was bored too.

Albuquerque, NM....didn't go there on vacation but for business and it is not a place I would ever return.
