for me Prince Rupert B.C. hope I dont ruffle feathers here. I have gone to Victoria though and LOVED it

Outer Banks and Paris on I do not believe I would be up to cruise again. There are tons of places I love though.

I liked Prince Rupert! I was only there one day, though.

But then, I'm sitting here thinking of a place I've been that I hated, and I can't come up with one! I guess I'm happy just going places!

I can't think of a place that I definitely wouldn't want to see again, BUT I know which friends I'd never travel with again. I hate going places with clingy people. IMO, we're all on vacation to enjoy ourselves. If you want to do something, go do it. Don't wait for me to make all of the arrangements and then follow me like a lost puppy.

Ouch! These are the kinds of threads where someone's hometown gets blasted, and sometimes it's not taken too well.

That being said, although I didn't HATE this place--the people were very friendly and hospitable--I definitely would not go to Branson for my vacation. I know lots of people really love it, but it's just not my cup of tea.

I know I will get bashed for this one. WDW Grand Floridian. I really didn't like it, dirty room, dirty pool, etc. The only way I would stay there again is if it was FREE.

I go to Pigeon Forge simply for breakfast at the Apple Barn Pigeon Forge is only about 2 hours from here, so a few times a year my hubby and I will drive up there, have breakfast, and go back to Knoxville to West Town Mall.

APPLE BARN!!!! I love Apple Barn but I detest Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. My mother lives in Townsend (great little place, totally different than Pigeon Forge, if you want a Smokies vacation) so we make sure to go to the Apple Barn every time we go to see her...

The Dallas Zoo! I've lived in the DFW area forever and the new parts are nice, but the older concrete enclosures make me sad everytime I go.

heimlich, I ADORE the Apple Barn and so does my husband. He suprised me on our anniversary of 2004 by taking me there. The alarm went off and he said, "Honey, shower and get dressed. We are going to the Apple Barn!" Needless to say, I was thrilled

Pigeon Forge. Worst place on the planet! And the comment about it being like Myrtle Beach.....that is exactly what I said as I sat on that main drag through the forge, stuck in an unbelievable amount of traffic that seemed to be going absolutley nowhere!

Charleston SC. The whole city seemed dirty and smelly to me
I don't think I'd like to stay in Pigeon Forge, but I do like to day trip over there from Cherokee NC

Lake Havasu City, AZ. We were driving from the Grand Canyon to LA, and Lake Havasu was 1/2 way; I'd head about it on a Travel Channel special and it looked really nice, so we decided to stop overnight. A lake in the middle of the desert, and it's just now being built up - we were there in July, and it was 113 degrees in the shade! You couldn't even touch the inside of the window in the hotel because it was so hot! The area around the London Bridge looked really nice; maybe some other time of year??????
