Been on hold 14 mins so far to make ADR's

Ok...what was the vedict? How long did it take to get through? What were you able to get, or what was already gone?

last week when we made them we were on it for about 30
For resort reservations we were on hold for 40 minutes. I was like, what is everyone on lunch break?
We even checked to see how long.

They need to give a discount if it takes over 30 minutes [that was a joke you spoilsports ..]

I called this morning at about 9:45am eastern time and was on hold about 5 minutes. I got all my reservations for 5/9-5/16 except the Fantasmic Dinner Package for 5/10.

We are doing:

5/9 - Dinner at Plaza Restaurant 6:00pm
5/10 - Lunch at 50s Prime Time Cafe - 11:45am
Dinner at Mama Melrose's - 6:15pm
5/11 - Dinner at Chef Mickey's - 6:55pm
5/12 - Breakfast at Crystal Palace - 8:20am
Spirit of Aloha Show (Cat 1 seating) 5:15pm
5/13 - Dinner at Cape May Cafe - 6:00pm
5/14 - Breakfast at Ohana - 8:20am
Dinner at T-Rex - 6:30pm
5/15 - Lunch at Rainforest Cafe (AK) 1:30pm
5/16 - Breakfast at Kona Cafe - 9:30am

Got every ADR for within 15 minutes of the time I was requesting.

I wonder if all the DVC needs moved operators around?

today was the first day booking could begin for the DVC Bay Lake Towers and the Treehouse Villas!

The first time I called, I had to hang up after about 5-10 minutes on hold to go to the bathroom The second time I called, my entire phone conversation (including time on hold) was 30 minutes. Made 9 ADRs within that time. All of them were either the exact time I wanted or within 5-30 minutes of the time I wanted. Also, I was calling around 9:30 Central (10:30 Eastern), if that matters.

Oh lordy I am about to call to book a last minute trips ADR's - March 18th! God only knows what is left...Luckily it is just me and a girlfriend so we can be more flexible than if we were traveling with a larger party or children, but I'm still nervous!

And I always get a restaurant for the first night then the one I want isn't available the next night but then I can switch and the CM probably hates me because I sit there and switch my choices around a million times!!

I just booked last Wednesday for March 20th and not that much was left
but we have 3 in our party. You may be more flexible to squeeze in

i booked last wk for march 1st and almost got everythng i wanted
anyway i called to cancel and adr and make another and it took about 25mins to go thru

I was on hold a total of about 23 mins. took another 20 mins to do ADR's.

got them all. San Angel Inn goes down for refurb May 10...fyi.

We got Le Cellier on the Friday of our stay...the whole week was already booked for 4 unless you wanted 4pm or 7:30pm...too odd of times for us.

We got all our dinners around 6-6:30 like we wanted. it all worked out
