Friday Oct. 1. - Due to my hubby and I not feeling so well we got a late start to the day. We arrived at Epcot around 12. We all headed for Test Track and got fast passes. I'll be honest I'm a little fuzzy on what we did for the hour we waited for our return time to Test Track. I do remember feeding the children lol. I actually think that took an hour. Either way we returned to Test Track and road in 3's since the kids couldn't go on.
After Test Track we headed over to the World Showcase to get our eat on! It was the first day of the food and wine festival and I couldn't have been more excited to eat some food! We ate sooooooooo much food!! Everything we ate was wonderful! I think there may have only been 1 thing we didn't like and for all the food we ate one thing wasn't bad. We spent the rest of the day and evening walking around and eating. The day was perfect for it. After the park we all headed back to the hotel to pack us. It was our last full day.
On Saturday everyone who had flights caught them and it was just my little family of 4 left in the GV. I took pics before we left. We were VERY SAD to leave. Normally since we drive we would spend a few hours walking around Downtown Disney. We only spent an hour there since we had decided to take the Auto Train home. Normally we wouldn't think about it, but the hubby was not doing well at all and for him to spend 18+ hrs in a car driving home would not had been good.
So all in all it was a good trip. We left feeling like we wanted to do way more then what we did, but due to the amount of people we got as much done as we could.
Our observations about Kidani and Jambo. We really enjoyed them both for different reasons just like so many have posted on here. Kidani does have a small lobby, but it's nice and quiet. It has the wonderful play/splash area for the kids. It's the 1st stop for the buses except for the Downtown Disney bus. You can request a lower floor instead of being stuck with one level. We requested close to the lobby since we wanted to be near the gift shop if we needed anything. This came in handy with the refillable mug!!
We loved Jambo's lobby. It was so big and wonderful and open. The Grand Villa was just out of this world. I mean it's a Grand Villa how can you say anything bad about it. We did find though the room we were in the Grand Villa was a little far from Mara to make trips for our refillable mug. We did wish the had the refill station in the gift shop so as we were walking out for the day we could fill it. The pool was nice, the people were awesome. I guess really I don't have any negatives to report.
Thank you to all who have read through my long and drawn out report. Hopefully next time I'll be able to do a live report and not forgot anything along the way
