Been away for awhile...changes to DDP?

Been away from the boards for many months so am way out of the loop. I believe the changes to the DDP have been in "soft opening" for 3 weeks but I can't believe there isn't more reporting from recent visitors as to what has changed in practice. Any official word yet or a thread I may have missed? TIA

There have only been a few reports that I've seen. It does seem like a while, but to give a report people need to have:

A) gone during the test
B) stayed onsite WITH a dining plan
C) been aware of the test before or informed about it during or after trip
D) asked about all their options with the plan
E) made a post about their experience

Unfortunately, not many people fit that criteria. Thanks to those who do!

The only change that has been confirmed so far (DDP logo in menu photos on EasyWDW) is that a Mickey Pretzel with cheese sauce ($5.75) is a single snack credit and a funnel cake with strawberries ($8.19) is also a snack.

I saw a report from someone who said the Wave offered dessert substitutes in the form of either a side salad or a vegetable side of green beans with mushrooms. No knowing whether or not that will be the usual substitution offering for the Wave, or what other restaurants might offer.

I have seen photos of DDP snack signage on both caramel apples and caramel with nuts.
