Beds at hotel new york

stupid question really, but i co-sleep with my toddler, (share the same bed), i requested a room with 2 double beds. was just wondering are the beds movable? i mean can i push our one into the wall, so my little one wont fall out the bed? or are they the kind of beds that are nailed to the ground?
When i booked i got offered a cot, but we both sleep much better in the same bed, so i just said no thanks.

btw my son does his own cot here at home, but we both sleep all night in the big bed at home, if he was in his cot, we would be up every hour. he's a mummy's boy. We co-sleep the safe way too.

When we stayed in SL on our first visit we had 2 double beds and our 2.5 yr old fitted in with us just fine. (Our children always appeared in our bed when they were younger, although it could get a bit squashed in a king-size bed with all 5 of us in there!)
We have tried to picture our bed in HNY, we had interconnecting rooms and we think the children had 1 double & 1 single (could have been 2 doubles) we had a sofa and we think (it was 4 years ago) a king size bed, which would fit you in alright, especially if you've perfected the 'balancing on the edge of the bed while your child sleeps sideways' technique!

I'm pretty sure you can move all the beds in all the onsite hotels, so you should be able to move a double bed against the wall at the HNY. 2 double beds is the standard room allocation at the HNY, although there are rooms with different configurations.

Yes the beds move. I did this with my littlest one for several years. It looks really funny because the headboard is stuck to the wall so just the bed moves. We found it moved back everyday (so they can remake it).
