Thanks the news on the new bedding has not been good. I think I will pack the queen size air mattress for my duaghters 19 year old 6" 4" boyfriend.

I just stayed at BCV so I have nothing to compare it to but I thought the mattress was great and I love a firm mattress. I didn't find it lumpy at all.

We just spent one night (11/17) in a studio at BCV on the 5th floor. The mattress on the bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was awful! It was the old style with the metal bar. The mattress was very worn and sunk down in the middle.

Can someone explain what the sofabed plan is for DVC.

We stayed at BCV in Jan. and the sofabed was a regular one that was terrible! Our group had 3 studios and everyone was awful! Our twins were 8 and the mattress sagged in the middle. Some of the others removed the mattress and used it on the floor.

We just returned this month from OKW and they had a much better sofabed. We had never seen one like this. The boys had not problem with it! It was much more comfortable but it was not a standard type of mattress. Is this the type of sofabed that will be in all rooms?

Just returned from BCV Tuesday night nov. 28th. We were on the first floor (room 138) in a dedicated 1 bedroom. Sorry to report that this particular sofa bed has not been replaced. The mattress was thin and you could feel the metal through it. My 23 and 16 year old daughters slept in it and they had no complaints ( my guess is they were just happy to be in Disney and probably could have slept on the pool lounges ) but........I sat on it just to put my shoes on and found it EXTREMLY UNCOMFORTABLE. I would have never been able to sleep on it. The king size bed in the bedroom was satisfactory. If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to try to answer them.

We stayed at BCV in OCt Nov and the new beds were no where to be seen!! The sofa bed that I shared with my DD was the most uncomfortable thing I had ever slept on. We had an extra matress and an egg crate and it made no difference at all. I had to resort to afternoon naps on the real bed when everyone else was out as I got hardly any sleep!!!!

An excuse to take another picture when I'm at BCV next week. I "have to" report on the sofa bed situation and take a picture.

I'm not sure if this was posted already but while we were staying in December, they were changing out the beds to pillowtop. So at least that is good news. My in-laws stayed in the studio section of out 2 bedroom the they had the new beds ( very comfy) but the king was the old one.

Gad, Not sure what interior decorating background the DVC furniture buyers have but that sofa bed will certainly take your vision out of focus.

We stayed at the BCV 12/2-12/6 in three 2 bedroom villas and none of them had new safa beds. I didn't notice if the king or queen mattresses were new. They were very comfortable, though.
