My bedroom is 14' 7" by 11' 6". I have a king size bed and need to move a window to fit my bed on the wall. The shorter wall has a window in the center. The longer wall has a window off center. That is where I need to put my bed.

We have 2 thoughts on this. Close that wall up and have no window on it. Then put 2 windows on the shorter all. Or put 2 smaller windows on the longer wall so they would be on either side of the bed. What do you think??? Thanks

How about putting the bed on the angle at one corner? The bed doesn't necessarily have to be flush against one wall, does it?

We had to the same problem with our piano--anyway we put it, it would have blocked a window. So we put it at the corner--so the space behind it is triangular. (I don't know if I'm putting this coherently.)

I don't know if it would work in your situation, but it's a cheaper solution than putting in an extra window.;)

If it were me, I'd probably cover over the window located on the long wall with sheet rock, then wallpaper the entire room in something gorgeous. Then, I'd turn that small window on the short wall into a French door and put a tiny terrace or deck off from it. In fact, I DID do that!!! :teeth:
