Do you sleep with your bedroom door closed? Kids?
I sleep with the door open, I always have for a variety of reasons.
When the kids were young, I left their doors open until they fell asleep.. also for a variety of reasons

Ours is generally open - our boys (16 and 20) are usually closed.

When the girls were young we slept with the door closed.

I now have a cat and keep the door open a bit. Otherwise Polly Cat would scratch and claw all night long trying to get in.

There are many times that I wish we did not teach him to use the dog door.

We started sleeping with our door open when the kids were small so we could hear if they needed us in the night, etc. They are older now (17 and 20) but we haven't changed. The kids sleep with their doors closed, mainly to keep the dogs from getting into their stuff, I think.

I keep mind open because I am a furnace and my room gets too hot if it’s closed.

Closed. Dick Van Dyke's fire safety PSAs when I was a kid taught me to keep my bedroom door closed and in the case of fire to put my hand on it to see if it was hot. I still heed Mr. Van Dyke, God Bless him.

Always closed and we always closed DS's door after he fell asleep as well (he was able to open it himself by the time he was out of the crib so it wasn't frightening for him).

Pre-cat closed, post-cat cracked open just enough so he can get in and out.

Ours is open, dogs come in and out at night. If we have company, we usually close the dogs in with us but no one sleeps well when that happens.

DD sleeps with it closed unless she's home alone with the dogs then she leaves it open for them to go in and out.

It was always closed (yes, due to being taught fire safety) until dh's cat came with us to live. Then, it was left a little open for him to freely come in and out - otherwise we would have a scratching wailing cat. When he passed away in 2010 door closed again. When we took in a new cat 4 years ago the door opened slightly again for the same reason.

DD's door has always been closed.

Open so the heat/AC air can circulate.

Our first home only had heat on the first floor so if you closed all the doors upstairs it would have been freezing. There was also no AC, so doors were open so we could get some cross ventilation with the windows open when it was warm.
