bed size in BCV Studio

1 Queen Size Bed and 1 Full Size sleeper sofa.

I can't be of much help on the comfort. My husband slept on the sofa when the kids were in the 2nd bedroom because they were a bit frightened to be there by themselves (I was in the king size bed in the master bedroom), he said it was comfortable, but he can sleep anywhere!

I spent three nights on one at BWV last year. Not bad, but I was ready for a real bed...

I was on the darned sleeper-sofa a few nites last July with my daughter. She and baby brother were fighting and we had to separate them :) It was OK. I have a cranky lower back and some hotel beds kill me, but I did fine. The sofa could have been bigger -- 2 adults would have been tight. I believe they are now in the middle of changing a lot of the studio sleepers to queen-size. They are fiddling around with a lot of the bedding; evidently it wasn't as planned when the property opened. I think you'll do fine.

Also, the room is TIGHT when the sleeper is opened. You'll need to fold it back into a couch -- which is really easy to do -- first thing each morning so you have room to move around. In general, we loved the studio at BCV (I was in #412, close to elevators and laundry, non-smoking and great quiet-pool view) and the whole place is just beautiful. Enjoy!

I believe they are only changing the beds in designated 2 BR's not in the studios.

I thought I read that the 2-bedroom units were getting beds in the 2nd bedroom and the studios were getting QUEEN sofabeds to replace the full size ones. God knows I could be wrong! I think I read it on the DVC member website or maybe in the newsletter that came before Xmas? Anyone?

the dedicated 2 br's are being changed to either 2 queen beds or they are taking out the double sofa and replacing it with a queen sofa in the second br no plan to change studios

heres the paste from the website
Disney's Beach Club Villas Bedding Change

Bedding in the Disney's Beach Club Villas dedicated two-bedroom villas is being replaced to reflect the original plan for the property. Only the 78 dedicated two-bedroom vacation homes at the resort are affected, specifically the bedding in the second bedroom of these vacation homes. In 25 of the rooms, the full-size sofa bed will be changed to a queen-size regular bed. In the other 53 rooms, the full-size sofa bed will be changed to a queen-size sofa bed. Therefore, the second bedroom of each dedicated two-bedroom vacation home will have a queen-size bed, either another regular queen bed or a queen sofa bed. We are unable to change all rooms to regular queen-size beds due to Fair Housing regulations. As these two-bedroom vacation homes have slightly different configurations, not all could accommodate a regular bed.

The furniture changeover is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 6 and is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete.
