Thanks Debra.![]()
Hey, where ya staying at WDW? We'll be at BCV in a week. Seems so far away... I'm sure I'll be packing Friday night. This trip is the first one I haven't planned anything, we'll see how it goes!![]()

I haven't stepped on the scale for a week......I will on Monday. I am sort of disappointed, but not to bad. I feel ok with things, but I will have to get into gear again.
I would love a vacation!
Dave: Great news on the BF%. That's near or getting near your fighting, er, racing goal, isn't it? I've been meaning to ask, how Erica is doing? Pain-free & recovering quickly, I hope.
It sounds like you two are roughly on the same cycle as DOOD & I are. We're also doing the marathon in 2009 & the Goofy in 2010. We don't run together, except in spirit or on side-by-side TMs, because he's so much faster than I am. And on race days, I wouldn't want to hold him back or have him be frustrated--he likes to test himself. So I kiss him goodbye at the corrals & we see each other at the finish. Knowing he was there kept me going in January.

in the room...

Survived my first half marthon this morning!
So far, I've eaten pretty bad today. Went out and had Mexican for lunch and now we're about to go eat at The Varsity. (And that is not healthy!)
I promise to get back on track tomorrow morning!
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!![]()
I do hope it goes well & she recovers quickly--is 4 weeks a long time for such surgery? I just know that you'll be beside her every moment you can be.
I didn't like the movie very much, nor did DOOD. The best I can say is that it was cute, but very sitcomy & predictable; still, neither of us will remember much about it in a couple of weeks. And, for my money, there wasn't enough running in it. And remember that I see dozens of films a year--I'm not exaggerating--between movie theaters, film festivals, conferences, my Netflix queue and my iPod at the gym--so I'm not exactly an average movie-going audience. I have a feeling that most people don't look at movies the same way I do. So to be fair, I think most people, especially runners, would find it an enjoyable flick.
I hope you find that laundry room soon! Oh, and how's the Swan; I hope to hear reports on it when you return.
I'm really glad you and Nancy have found good race partners in each other--although I am surprised you don't train together, I don't know why. What, pray tell, do you find to talk about on race day? (I don't think I have the brains to carry on a conversation at such times.)
I hope you'll have time to tell us more about how the bugg works.
As for the eating, c'mon! I think you deserve a little feasting to commemorate the occasion. Tomorrow, though, it's back to training--right?
I don't know that I want him to, either, but it's strange.
rincess: When is the actual big day?
Lucky dog.

First half marathon,
Bet it's not gonna be your last either.
