Morning Meaners. Major super quickie fly by for me today. I apologize for not being here much lately. I just seem to be on the run constantly and running when I am not on the run!! lol.
DD13 team won the tourney this weekend. They came out like gangbusters winning the first 2 games and had they won the third, we would have had 1 game on Sunday but, in true fashion, they did not. So we had 3 games Saturday and 3 games on Sunday. We think the girls like getting their money's worth (or their parents moneys worth anyway). The crushed the team they lost to twice (15-0 and then 5-1) and played superior ball. It was great to watch. Thankfully no tourneys this weekend and the following weekend is our last tourney. She is, however, still playing with the HS team (the only middle schooler allowed) and we have 2 games this week alone. Oh, and field hockey camp every day this week too.
DS6 went camping with his cousins and was very proud to report that he slid down a chocolate slide into a vat of chocolate pudding while the other kids threw whipped cream pies in his face. Ah, does it get any better. He had a blast!!!
So a great weekend for kidlets, me no running whatsoever...
We hayed for 4 hours on Friday afternoon/evening and got in 881 bales total. Today starts another week and, yes, I am off my mileage again but learning to let go. Debra, I am not okay with missing miles and less than stellar runs but I am dealing with things as they come. I have no other choice.
I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I am tired and a little sunburned but nothing major (thankfully). Even 50 SPF did not stop the glaring sun at the tourney. I have to make ressies for a hotel for my 10K weekend. It is DH and my 15th anniversary (7/31) so we are taking the entire weekend together.
It should be fun. Weeds are out of control again as is the laundry so I will be catching up on that as well as my line count and miles this week. I will check in as I can.
Take care Lean Meaners and keep working toward those goals!!

I have seen the trailers, but.......... -- I love scientist people!
The other cat is a beautiful calico, but she is more tortoise shell looking rather than the typical calico...very wild looking. She has rabbit soft fur and she decides when it's time for me to go to bed! Last night, she got up on the arm of my chair, and then gently put her mouth on my nose in what could have been a serious bite if whe weren't so careful. It was time for bed and I needed to be there, NOW! We went to bed.
Maybe I'll have DOOD stop at the local beer store (where we can mix-and-match beers to fill a six-pack) and try for a German taste test. He's been trying local beers recently.
Oh, btw, tell your DS that I've now added "Eat right, pee white" to my list of WO mantras. I'm not sure you're all great influences on me, but you're certainly fun!
for DD and her tourney win! And WOW for DS and the "chocolate slide"--that sounds like a blast. That's wonderful that you get to get away for your anniversary. I'll second Debra's good wishes for your trip!
hey girl! I was lurking on the resort boards and saw that you posted you're staying at CSR for marathon weekend. I love that resort and that's where we're thinking of staying. Did you use the marathon discount?
from us, but the people were abusive and neglectful to her. I told DOOC if she ever came to visit I was going to ask her if she wanted a new home. At the time, she was as tiny as a 6 week old kitten but was in fact over 6 months old. She came over hunting rabbits, and I picked her up and took her in the house and she decided she would just move in! She didn't stop purring for 24 hours the first day. And didn't go back outside for nearly a year! -- LOL I just love to watch herding dogs trying to herd children! You never know who will win!
THat is funny that we have such smilar cats. Mine were foundlings needing good homes. I had to leave them both at the vets when we went on vacation one time. Charcoal, chewed me out for three days! She tries to use a soft sweet voice, but she in fact has a voice that is something like a cross between an alley cat and very cranky siamese! She let me have it!

doesn't begin to describe it. I'm starting my own "Biggest Loser", I just have to have more action than planning...I'm a great planner, it's the doing that gets me!
Anyway, done with the TMI and moving onto today. I have a health risk assessment at work. Hey, they give us a $100 gift card for being healthy, how can I afford not to go. I figure I will use it to update some things in my wardrobe that do not fit so well anymore. Then it is either rest or XT whichever I decided. Obviously not back on my bike....well okay maybe back on my bike with some extra padding.
