Becky Higgins Weekend Sketch Challenge!

Well, I finally finished the one page that I have been working on this week. I do not understand how to load pictures here in the message even after reading the directions a dozen times, so here is the link:

This is sketch #4. I am going to try to work on another one tonight since the kids are in bed.

On a side note, DH thinks these pictures are digusting because the kid and dog are right next to the toilet. I thought I needed to document what went on when I was taking a shower and I thought they were cute. He said Becky Higgins will never pick them because who wants a toilet in their book!

ROTFLOL I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you, but your dh's comments have just given me a fit of giggles.

Even if she doesn't want a toilet in her book, your dd & dog are just the cutest! Sometimes we can't do a thing with the background (and in this case, why would you?)

Glad you like them! I guess no one wanted to the weekend challenge.

The journaling says:

Taking a shower with a two year old in the house is sometimes difficult. Invariably, I will hear the bathroom door creak open and a “hewo Mommy!” midway through. This day Megan raided my closet and proceeded to decorate herself and Lacey with gift bows. I couldn’t be angry: I hopped out, wrapped up in a towel and went to find the camera so I could record the moment.​

Ok, I just finished one this afternoon I really like! I am considering sending it in. I guess I will just keep working until close to the deadline and send in the very best ones. This is sketch #7.

Hey where did you find the new templates? I love BH templates as they give me great placement ideas and I just go with my creativity on the rest.

I did # 6 yesterday... and then I tried to do # 8 but there was just way too much empty space so I stuck another picture on the 2nd page in the upper left corner and it looks much better. Unfortunantly, the digital camera is in the shop currently so I only have my cell phone to take pictures with...

but how dang cute is your daughter in that dress - with the bows and obviously her best friend (whom you MUST go right over to the disney store - or whatever they call it now - and buy that cute mickey and pluto bed for - my dd wants it now and won't get a dog for another year at least - lol)

Maggie I love your snow pages! It almost makes me wish I lived somewhere colder so I could make snow pages (not to actually go out in it!). The white space was a problem for me to with the 2nd attempt: the Kindergarten page.

Patty, I can't wait to see your pages! Please don't order me to the Disney store, I already spend enough money over there! But I suppose I'll have to go pick up Bambi soon and then I can check it out.

Thanks for your input, I really value opinions from other scrapbookers. And I knew you would really understand about the toilet thing!
