Its too funny to see you bundled up down there. I know my cousin who lives in Winter Park was complaining about the cold spell you had down there, but coming from MI it seems so odd to see Florida pictures with hats and scarfs The one with the beignets makes me hungry though, they are so good at PORFQ.

I was a nervous wreck when we went to get our lic! Glad I wasn't the only one!
I don't know if they told you...but save the name change on the passport for last...They have to take the original license.

Updates​

I went shopping on Saturday and I picked up these headbands for my MOHs to wear, who knows if it will look good, but I thought it would be nice if it does:

I also got a dress for the rehearsal. Here is a kinda crappy dressing room pic:

I finished up the programs on Sunday, I'm really pleased. Only thing is that I ran out of the tape stuff I was using to glue the two pieces together and when I went to Michaels to get a refill they only had refills for the temporary kind not the permanent. I decided to go for it because I didn't want to pay an extra $3 for a whole new dispenser and tape. Now I am worried they are going to come apart. I wasn't too worried until my latest little project I just made today coming up in a bit. First here are the programs:

Also the shirts I ordered came in and they look great! I hope they fit!

I didn't notice until I got it that the heart over the i in Bride covers over the e in the, oh well

Ok, now here is what I just whipped up this afternoon. I got Jeff some socks at Ross on Saturday and then I made this cute label for them. I'll somehow get these to him the morning of the wedding:

This is where I was finding the tape wasn't sticking, so hopefully it's just because the paper is trying to undo itself and needs something stronger.

So now all I need is table names and placecards.
I bought clear labels for the placecards and will just print, peel, and stick.

I think I am going to type up a welcome letter for the welcome bags and I want to make a little tag to hang on them too.
We also need to get out toasting glasses and gifts for our parents!

I'm feeling really good about everything though!

This time next week I'll be married!

One last Update...​

I thought I would pop in and post one last time before the wedding. Things have gotten a bit crazy. My parents and grandpa arrived safely on Thursday as well as my dad's cousin and his family. Yesterday however things began to go downhill with the crazy 1-2 feet of snow that Virginia and DC are supposed to be getting.

My Maid of Honor discovered that she had booked her flight wrong and instead of getting in at 12:14pm on Saturday she was booked to get in at 12:14pm Sunday with a night stay at Dulles airport. She has re-worked her flight to get in later today, as long as it doesn't get canceled by the snow. Right now 10 of the 16 flights departing Richmond this morning are canceled. She is still optimistic and says if she can't get a plane then she and her mom will drive the 13 hours straight through to get here. I love her She is confident she will get here somehow, she e-mailed me her speech this morning to print out when she arrives. Jeff even offered to drive up and get her, but my mom said we couldn't lose the groom lol My roommate offered to stand in her place and I told him that I had a great headband for him to wear and Krystin said she would pay money to see that even if she does get here lol.

So then we heard from my dad's other cousin that their flights out of Dulles for today had already be canceled and that they rebooked for Sunday. We are hoping those don't get canceled and they will make it to the wedding. We were then informed that my uncle who is flying in from California was flying through Dulles and that flight was canceled and he was re-routed through Denver, so he should have arrived around 2am last night/ this morning. When calling my grandma to discuss this we found out that she decided not to come. she would have been flying from Newark and they are only get about 3-6 inches but she was going to have to take a cab to the airport by herself and she is worried about slipping and falling because she has been having trouble walking lately. So she is definitely not coming which is really sad, but I understand.

So I have no idea really what our guest situation is. I turned in all of our placecards yesterday, but who knows if they are correct lol. Oh well, at least my parents made it down on what may be the last JetBlue flight to get down here before the wedding! I'm very happy that they made it! Jeff's parents and brothers drive down today, so as long as we have all of them, then I am happy. My Matron of Honor made it in from NY yesterday so I have one attendant and I have faith that Krystin will get here somehow.

In other news lol My parents room overlooks the ceremony site, which is sooo awesome! I'm hoping that when I check in tomorrow I get a room near there too. We have had two great meals with everyone at Narcoosee's and Biergarten and tonight is my dad's 60th birthday dinner at Kouzzina. Looks like the rain got itself out of it's system yesterday and we are set to have a beautiful day on Monday!
