Bec & Chris - Wishes Wedding 03/01/11 WP/WHR/SCP - Some extra pics and **COMPLETE**

Thanks for Posting youe BEO bec doesnt look too scary at this point. Who is doing your Photos??

Bec, first of all, my condolences on the loss of your grandmother.

And thank you for posting your BEO. It's so helpful to see how things are done for other couples. :) I noticed you said you were cutting the vintage car. I don't know if it's something you really wanted but the cost was just putting you off, but I wanted to suggest hiring a vintage Rolls through VIP Tour Group. If you hire them directly, it's only $540 with tip for 3 hours for them to do a Disney wedding.

Thanks, but we're not fussed about it. If it was available we would have looked at doing a luxury car, but vintage isn't something we're going for, so I'm not worried about cutting it.

Yeah I was quite happy with it. Misty is our photographer. We're making the final payment to her this week while the $ is so good, and that will be another thing we can check off!

BEO looks great!

Sorry for your loss:sad1:

Thanks. :goodvibes

That's an awesome BEO, you did great! And it came back sooo fast after your PS.

I am still waiting on mine, but I had TONS of custom items for the menu, plus custom cake and also have floral and whatnot so I am expecting it to take longer.

The cuts you are looking at look reasonable, I like the idea of doing the cake cutting at the DP, I hope the weather cooperates!

Me too, it means the cake wont be on display, but I can live with that.

BEO looks great, Bec! How long did it take you to get it after your PS?

Love the t-shirts! What a neat idea. I think it's cute that the flag is backwards :goodvibes

So sorry to hear about your grandma, too.

It actually took no time at all, maybe a couple of days, but she is away on holidays this week, so I think she rushed it to get it to me before she went away. Also as chocokat mentioned we didn't have many custom items, all pretty standard.

The strangest thing we have is that our meals are going to be alternated, one person gets the beef and the next gets the chicken all the way around the tables. It's common here in Aus, but apparently they don't do that in the states :confused3

Just had my planning sesion with Elizabeth, and hopefully nutted everything out. Now I just have to wait 3 weeks to get the estimate! popcorn::

It's so hard picking flowers and centrepieces etc. when yo have no imagination!! :rotfl: Here's hoping what I see in my head, and what I explained are the same thing!

Hey! Ive just got caught up on your pj...everything sounds so great! I cant wait to read more! By the way...I LOVE your dress! Its so beautiful!! :goodvibes

Everything looks fantastic thus far! The BEO is so much fun! I kept altering mine and now my planner just sent me my final changes email lol, it made me so NERVOUS!

Can't wait to read more popcorn::

Really sorry to hear about your grandma

Thanks,

Hey! Ive just got caught up on your pj...everything sounds so great! I cant wait to read more! By the way...I LOVE your dress! Its so beautiful!! :goodvibes

Thankyou! I can't wait to finally get it!

By the way, I see you have a cat named Toby, we do too! I got all excited when I saw the smilie of the white cat with Toby written next to it, because our Toby is even all white!

Thanks, I'm waiting for my floral BEO to work out exactly how much needs to be cut

Wow, your wedding is so close! You're really on the business end!

Ha really?! Great minds think a like eh?! :goodvibes My Toby is a ragdoll...he's a big white fluffball and he's my baby and I love him too bits! :lovestruc Im just sad I cant take him to Disney for the wedding! :sad1:

So happy you had your flower PS! :thumbsup2

It was hard for us too, and we were right there in the flesh with photos and swatches and whatnot, I am still not quite sure what I ended up picking to be sincere, it was such a whirlwind :rotfl:

I can't imagine how hard it must be doing it all over the phone. I am sure it will be beautiful though. :thumbsup2

We got our second BEO, I'm at work now, so I'll try and post it when I get home. We took out the harpist, the vintage car and the ficus trees with twinkle lights.

We added more desserts to the DP, and changed the estimate of drinks from 1 per person to 4 per person.

So all in all it's cheaper, just obviously not as cheap as I was hoping the cuts would make it. There's still time to keep playing with it though, so when our floral BEO comes in we can really start hacking at it!

Also! Df's brother's wedding was on the weekend, so that means I've got hair trial pics!!! :yay: I'll post these when I get home too. I'm not 100% happy with it, but it gave me a good idea of what I want.

Also - if you've read along through the whole PJ you may have noticed a few similarities between our wedding and FBIL's wedding. One of which was the photobooth that they had. We were going to skip the photobooth because they were going to have it at their reception, but it was so much fun we're going to see if there's room in the budget for it. It really made the night!

Now their wedding's over though, so I can stop worrying about other things that they might copy from our wedding. :rotfl:

Oh yeah, there's more news too...

I got a call from my MOH yesterday, we chatted for a bit, about everything and nothing, and then she said; "so, are you sitting down? Because I need to tell you something" any way, it turns out she's expecting! I'm really happy for her because I know they've been trying for a while. They tried from about December and then stopped in May so she wouldn't have any problems getting to the wedding, but looks like they had an accident :lmao: Like I said, I'm really happy for them, but this does mean that she may not be coming to the wedding :sad2: She's due the middle of May, which is over two months after the wedding, but will mean she'll be a little bigger then what she was when we ordered the BM dresses, plus it could also sky rocket their travel insurance. So time will tell as to whether they're coming and I need to find another BM...

Oh Bec exciting you got your second BEO!! I am in the waiting stage for my LOA! this month is going to take forever!

Congrats to your bridesmaid although it does kind of suck lol!
I am ready to dump alll my wedding party and it be just me and DF!!
Cant wait to see your Hair trial pics!
I think we are going to have a Photo Booth at our at home reception. I just cant Justify it for 10 people!

Sorry, my laptop needs some repairs, so I can't get my new BEO or hair trial pics up until that's done. Hopefully it will be by the weekend :sad2:

Ok, lots of updates today! :goodvibes

We'll start with my hair trial.

I asked for loose curls in a loose up do, at the back of my head, and some bling randomly about my head.

While it's not exactly how I pictured it to be, I still really liked it. I'll probably make a few changes, like have the mass of curls further up my head, and instead of the bling I'm thinking I'll have a tiara, and a veil coming from the bottom of the curls.

I actually think I have more hair then what I think I do, so all the hairstyles that I like will be a lot bigger then what photos of other people look like :confused3
