Beaver Tails?

Just wondering if they still exist? It's been a long time since I've been to WDW, but they were so yummy! I saw menus on snack places and I don't see them anywhere. They used to be available in Canada.

Yes, they are gone. I elieve it was some with the manufacturer or something. The kiosk is still there but no beaver tails.

Disney was being politically correct again. They had been receiving complaints of protest from PETA about the maltreatment and disfiguration of Beavers.

Yes, sadly they are gone. Actually I think they finally got rid of the kiosk, I remember last year there was a pin trading or souvenier cart there now. I have looked/hoped/dreamed that they would be back, but for 4 years, nothing!

But I did find a substitute of fried dough in CT this year.....ver similar!

It is like a flat deep fried donut pastry kind of thing covered in whatever you choose, such at maple topping, chocolate or apple spread, cinnomon... They are to die for all hot and sweet. They are easy to find in Canada. Apparently not so easy to find at DW!

I miss Beaver Tails at WDW - it was the only place we ever got to have them.

We always ordered ours with maple and chocolate syrup ...

Oh well, I'll just have to learn to cook them myself. I always love an excuse to make something new and yummy! My favorite was the one with sugar and lemon juice squeezed over the top. It didn't sound good, but the cast member recommended it and I'm sooo glad he did!

We get beaver tails at our local mall. I can understand why other people miss them at WDW beause they are tasty. Mmmmm. I'm not sure why there seems to be a production or supply problem if they sell them many places in Canada.
