Does anyone else have problems when washing and rinsing their hair. My hair texture feels different at WDW, it feels really dry. I guess the water is different, IDK :crazy2: Any tips for this and also, for how the humidity makes hair look frizzy.

Also, I wanted to buy Body Glide, where do you find this in the store. I couldn't find it at Wal-Mart yesterday.

The water is very hard and the water makes all the difference when washing your hair. A good leave-in conditioner will help it from feeling dry, and a good anti-humidity serum or spray will help with the frizz. I like Fekkai Summer Hair products to combat humidity, and my favorite leave-in conditioner is by Amika.

I have found Body Glide in stores at Dick's Sporting Goods, and also Amazon and eBay. It's a popular item for runners, so I would suspect any running/sporting good store would have it.

1. Use a leave in conditioner. That will take care of both of those issues.

2. You can get it at a sporting goods store or amazon.com. Honestly, I think it's a waste of money. Deodorant is just as effective and way cheaper.

Never tried deodorant but I've also used Monistat anti-chafing gel, which is a bit cheaper than Body Glide and works as good. You can find it at any grocery store or Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

I found Body Glide at my local running store, athletes use it. As far as humidity and the hair, it's been a problem that I just accept. Florida is humid 365 days a year. The water is not good down there, you are not the first to say something about the effect on your hair.

I've used that, as well.

Yaaaasss. Seriously my hands get so dry and my hair feels awful after and the humidity of Florida makes it even worse. The water is also terrible for my face and my eyes get so red when I wash up.

Hair oils are great for this. This is my favorite:

Beauty Protector Protect and Oil

You only need a tiny bit. I use a drop for my shoulder-length hair. I dry my hair, put a drop in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together once, and then run my hands through my hair. Gets rid of the frizzies, and makes your hair so soft and shiny.

Florida water is gross, both to drink and on your skin/hair. Using a leave-in or spray on conditioner is the only way I've found to combat the icky hair feeling.
