I am attached to Belle. at the hip. any ideas for decorating reception, cake, menu, or getting that gorgeous single rose in glass arrangement someone or other had?:cloud9:

I love Beauty and the Beast too. One of my favs.

Maybe you could use blue and yellow/gold as your colors for the reception for a more abstract take on Beauty and the Beast. I just watched a special on the Style network on Disney weddings and they have an entire line of wedding dresses based on all the Disney princesses.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

thanks! my dress is ivory with a champagne belt so i need some accent colors? i was thinking of going very french....has anyone had this wedding with the blue and gold or with the red?

I am doing a B&B wedding theme. My colors are gold, ivory, and red. We are doing our reception at the Bistro de Paris in France at Epcot. We also were looking at having our ceremony at the theater of the stars where the B&B stage show is. It would have been set for the ballroom scene and we were going to walk down the stairs and meet in the middle like they do in the movie. It ended up being a little bit out of our price range but you could definitely look into it depending on your budget. They also have an amazing reception concept for the theater of the stars as well. It's gorgeous but you can only have 50 guests because that is all the stage will fit. This is the link for it http://www.disneymedialab.com/dvm/concepts/Be_Our_Guest_Dinner-EC$$$.pdf. If you have any other questions, feel free to pm me. I have a few other ideas for B&B weddings but these few options were as B&B as you can get. HTH

What a great theme for a wedding! You've gotten a lot of great ideas so far. What about incorporating books somehow (since Belle loves books)? When I was scouring wedding blogs for our wedding, I saw a few weddings where vintage-looking books were stacked in the center of tables with the flower centerpiece on top. I also remember some pictures of using pages from old books to create paper flowers and other decorations.

The single rose decoration was from my bridal shower. :goodvibes It was a rose in play-doh with the glass bell case around it. I think they would make elegant centerpieces!
