Geez, with all of the gas money spent running around comparing prices, the the worry and time put into all of price comparison the DVD could have been prepurchased at The Disney Store and you could have gotten all of those fabulous freebies to go along with it, too! I just don't get it at all! There is more to life than saving a buck or 2!

You are right, Jasmine13, but don't forget what board you are on! :teeth:
Some people just don't think that those "fabulous freebies" are worth the $6 or more that they would spend at TDS. Some people just like to get the least expensive price on an item as they can. (ME! :) ) It is all about what is important to YOU!
I think that is the reason for this thread - so that everyone can share their knowledge and it will help others NOT to have to spend money and time running around.
It's all about priorities. Sometimes it is time, sometimes it's the bottom line.

:)

Well the CM I spoke to suggested I use the packing slip but to make copies of everything so if I had to follow up I would have all the information. I don't know if that will work, if anyone has another solution I am open. Maybe if I go into the Disney Store and show them my packing slip they could write me up a receipt?

I am so glad I checked this thread! I want the DVD for Christmas, of course Santa will have to bring me a DVD player also.

The $5 rebate if you have the old B&B sounds great. But I definitely don't want to cut off the UPC code.

A little note off subject, this board is really, really great. I've already learned some things that will aid in planning our trip for next June. I check in with DIS almost every night. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge!

TDS will not be able to write you up a receipt.

Oh behalf of all the DIS Budgetteers - :teeth:

Does anyone have an extra McD's Rebate Form - I can't believe that I must have thrown away four or five bags without looking!

I paid $15.87 at Wal-Mart and it came with a Beauty and the Beast cd rom.

I personally don't spend time running around checking out the deals
I find out all the info online from web sites like mycoupons.com and here
If I already know how to get the best deal why would I not get the movie for the cheapest price
I've learned over the years a few bucks here and a few bucks saved there and a change jar will pay for a trip to disney
