Hard to believe that one week ago tonight, we were in KC too excited to sleep. Now we're in our villa at Vistana and we're trying to stay awake.

Yesterday was our marathon day at MK. We were there from rope drop until after 11 pm by the time we got back to our car. We did the dessert party and the whole experience was magical. So glad we did it, even if we did push ourselves harder than we have all trip.

This morning we went to Typhoon Lagoon and it was practically empty until about noon. We left at 1 pm just as it started to rain. We got so much done in those first few hours and were so tired that we just called it good and left when Mother Nature started up.

Forecast says we're back into a rainy pattern. I can handle a little rain each day, but I'm praying it's not the 5+ hours of solid rain we had yesterday at MK.

Tomorrow was supposed to be another HS day, but nobody wants to go back to HS or Epcot (a disaster of a day) so we're going to AK. That will give us three AK days, three at MK and one each at HS and Epcot. Two water park days... if we don't get rained out Saturday. Dan's determined that we will go to a water park even if it's raining Saturday. I think it just sounds miserable... so we'll see.

The kids were so looking forward to Tusker House. No one enjoyed it that much. A little disappointment, but we're mostly rolling with the disappointments and frustrations.

So, AK tomorrow. I have yet to see Lion King so that's a top priority. We also haven't done Kali, but I'm OK with skipping it.... if I can just convince Dan.

I have gotten tons of compliments on my bag. It's so perfect for me and I can reach in and put my hands on exactly what I want. Even when I'm wearing my poncho. We did end up buying a messenger bag at AK that Brady carries. He's the pack mule. Ponchos and water.... that's what he carries. I don't know why I resisted the idea so much. Simply having water available all the time makes me so much happier.

I know I'm rambling and scattered. We're loving Vistana and starting to look forward to our move to Universal next week. Finished book #2 today and on to Sookie Stackhouse. Thinking we might pull a full day at AK tomorrow. We know we can do it!

I'm sorry you've hit some snags but FX for you that there will be no more marathon rain days!
