Bear in the Big Blue House

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if you can still meet Bear at any of the Character Meet and Greets at WDW? My DS 3 has just discoverd Bear and I hate he will miss seeing him at WDW! Our DD 9 had the opportunity to see Playhouse Disney with Bear twice when she was smaller and we just loved it! It's a shame that Bear, Stanley and Roly Poly are rarely ever seen on the Disney Channel anymore! My DS 3 watches Stanley if he's up at 6AM during the weekdays, but has to watch the other two on video or DVD's. Thanks for your help with this!

I have never seen bear doing a meet n greet that's not to say he has never done them but I don't you will see him. When we were there in Feb we wanted to see stanley and when we got to AK he wasn't there I talked to one of the handlers and they said he is retired.

Since the PH show was recently changed out, and Bear was removed, it's not likely he's still included in the roster of characters - but I suppose it's still possible. Don't know for certain.

The only place you could see Bear was at Playhouse Disney, but you could only see him from the stage. He didn't do meet-n-greets. They did sell Bear items outside Playhouse Disney, but that may have changed since the show was changed. If he likes Little Einsteins, there is a character meal with them.

I belive that they are now doing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at PHD... My oldest boys all loved seeing bear - especially DS#2 - now 5. We were hoping to see him again this trip, but DS#3 is a huge Pooh nd MMCH fanatic, so it all works out! I think DS5 will miss seeing Bear, but he has plenty of other stuff to kep his attention now that he is a big boy!

We asked when were were there last month and were told Bear does not do meet & greets anymore. He was in the parade, but I don't know if that will change too with the new parade. We didn't even see any merchandise either. We were very sad.
