Bear in the Big Blue House...I really miss that show!

We love Bear too!

If you miss him, there are two shows with BITBBH connections. The man who played Bear is the "friend" Keiko on Oobi on Noggin.

And Mitchell Kriegman who "invented" Bear has a wonderful new show called "Big, Big World" on PBS. The main character is a sloth and the whole show has the same gentle and loving feel as Bear.

Bear in the Big Blue House was DS first favorite show! I really miss it too.

We have the Halloween/Fall special on VHS that we watch every year. OK..I watch it, and DS just keeps me company.

I miss Rolie Polie Olie too!

I also miss this show. DD loves Bear and goes to sleep every night with one of her Bear CD's playing.

SInce it isn't on anymore, DH bought her several tapes that were on sale for about $5 each. I think she has 5 of them and they are 2 episodes each.

All of my babies (now up to 8 in age but always my babies) loved Bear and so did I. I thought it was so sweet and gentle. I am not a fan of the Doodlebops, especially the new season (JAzz gives me a headache, I miss Mazz), Bear was so wonderful. I loved Ojo and miss her little voice.

We watch this daily with DS2. My DD6 loved him so we have about 6 VHS tapes and some of the toys.

More Bear fans here!! My dd (10 now) could not get enough of BITBBH. That and OOTB were her favs. I miss Bear!!!!

I miss Bear too. I think my DD6 has grown out of playhouse disney. She likes JoJo but everything else kind of loses her attention. We put on PBS. She loves Jakers. Oh, and I make her turn off Oobi. What a horrible show!! That's up there with Caillou in my book (Hint to Caillou producers - how about a new episode entitled "Caillou needs a time out" - stop that darn whining).

Back OT: Does anyone else have the Bear Halloween episode? We always pull that out and watch it. For some reason I can never get "eekey eekey" out of my head.
