What type of bears are they? Black bear, grizzly? Maybe they should change the season!

Ont eh show I watched today they were black bears.

Baiting for bears is the most ethical way to harvest bears. It assures that you only harvest the mature boars. The sows will always bring their cubs to the bait site since she never lets them out of her sight. She runs them up a tree and then investigates the bait site. If a boar has established his domain there she will smell this and never take her cubs there.

The 2 they took today on the show were both female but no cubs were seen and as one hunter stated there was no real way to tell if they were male or female so they advocate the tagging idea to differentiate between the 2.
