Beanie babies

I love this ebay auction on a beanie baby collection--yes just a mear $45,000for the entire collection. The poster says "but now we are behind in bills and others"---ya think-duh!!!!! from buying 1900+ of those things. These were made in China, and at one time it was estimated that it cost about .19 cents to make one. Did people actually think that this mass produced item was going to have any long term intrinstic value??

And the best one of all, a 1.5 million dollar Di beanie--unreal. Claims has a rare 'unique flaw'--a single white stitch on the leg--for god sakes.

Now we have a good bit of the beanies--but only because it was fun to find them with the kids. I cannot believe folks thought they were going to retire on these.

Oh the beanie baby craze. I bought them and always thought when I have children they could play with them. FINALLY had a baby last year and I must say, she loves them all!!!
