Just got home from the festival, I got to leave early so I'll post everything!!

WOOOh its been a long weekend. As you've read I have been at the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival all weekend.
Well because I am the mother of all picture takers I have lots off stuff for you guys to see.

I went Saturday night with my Best friend Heather and her boyfriend Justin!

We watched Travis Matte and Richard Lebouffe and had a pretty good time..

On Saturday I volunteered at the Information booth and took a couple pictures of what was going around me!

Me with the baby Racoon we found. One of the Crawfish Board of directors is going to adopt her. Her name is May. A local vet said that she was around 8 weeks old. SOOOO CUTE.

Now I didnt get a chance to try everything but I did try to take pictures of what I saw.

It was the best thing I have ever had in my life. Its the only reason why I go to the Crawfish Festival...other than to check out the cute cops

They had a crawfish Etoufee Contest and afterwards if you wanted to sample the food you could. They still had a bunch left over afterwards SOOO they sent huge boxes to the Volunteer tent for us to try all the crawfish. This is the one I chose...It was just right. They wernt labled to who they were made by but this one was one of ther better ones!

Well Bean, it looks like you had an awesome time.....while "working" the info booth... LOL!!!!

I have never been to the Breaux Bridge festival, but there isn't anything better than a good Crawfish Boil, so I can only imagine what the festival is like. I don't know if I would have been able to walk out afterwards...I mean if I was south of Alexandria, I certainly would also have to have a Poboy, though I might could have been tempted by a Muffaletta instead , then I wouldn't have been able to turn down Crawfish Etotufee, since somebody went to all that trouble to get that meat out of em, then of course, to be true to the Festival, I would have had to have eaten my share of Crawfish, corn, and taters.....not to mention a few sweets here and there.........and so somebody would have had to roll me out of there afterwards...

Only in South La......a baby coon.......for a pet!!!!!

The music was awesome, I especially enjoyed the guy in the white shirt??? Made me feel like I was right there in good old South La.!!!!! Of course, had I been there, I would have been laid over a table after stuffing myself all day long, but I am sure I would have enjoyed the music anyway!!

Glad you had a great weekend and had so much fun........now get ready for DISNEY!!!!!! and I hope you didn't get any "tickets" while checking out the cops!!!!!!!!
