I am just curious how parties of 2 (or 3) have been seated. Do you get a table to yourselves, or are you seated with other parties? Any luck requesting to be seated by yourselves?

I was there opening night standing at the bar, and saw a few parties of 2-3 at the bar but most were sharing tables elsewhere.

I would not go in expecting to get your own table. The space is quite simply not big enough to accommodate that given the outsized demand for reservations. If you’re averse to sharing tables with other parties this is just not the place for you, to put it bluntly.

Not quite sure how this all works. There are different areas and things happen in each area? If you are seated in one how do you experience others?

Every section has thematic elements that are unique to that section. You experience those things by getting up and walking around, same as anywhere else that’s heavily themed. If you’re in the ballroom at BOG you’re not going to see the Beast’s portrait change during the thunderclaps or the petals fall from the rose unless you get up and walk to the West Wing. I couldn’t see the ships in a bottle fighting from the bar but I had a perfect view of the bird. Unless you spend your entire 45 min eating and drinking you have plenty of time to look around afterwards, the place is not that big.

Thanks Kylenne, we are still debating but just wanted to know what we are getting ourselves into! We've done Trader Sam's a couple times, and have been to Oga's so we have an idea. It seems bigger than both of those in pictures and videos, but of course things are always different in person.

Vids are a bit deceiving with B&B, they make it look way bigger than it actually is, I think because of how the rooms are laid out. The main room (the mess) is the biggest one and the others aren’t as big, but none of them are huge. Capacity wise I think it’s more than Trader Sam’s and maybe slightly more than Oga’s but the tables look bigger to me. I didn’t really notice any 2 tops in the mess, just long tables. The booths I saw were like 4 ppl minimum.

We were 3 and seated alone at our own table which was nice, granted our reservation was at 8:50pm not sure if that had anything to do with it. It was behind a middle section with a partition so to see anything happening at the bar you had to get up and walk over there.

How does the 45 minute time limit work exactly? Like how can you down two cocktails and eat within 45 minutes if factoring in ordering waiting and the like. It seems pretty fast paced

I will be going there solo next week. So I’m assuming I’ll be at the bar. Are there seats at the bar, or will I end up standing?
Wondering the same. I don't mind sharing spaces with anyone, but not to have seats at Oga's after walking around all day is nonsense!

My thoughts too and, if you get up to explore other rooms, how do they monitor the 45 minutes?

How about the timing of getting in close to your ADR time? We have cut ours pretty close to Boo to You and that is priority to DD. Hopefully, we get out on time and hustle around to Pecos Bill to catch HH and BtY.

Drinks came very quick and aren't large. I could drink 3 drinks in 45 minutes easily

Does that include the time it takes the call the credit card company in order to get approved for a credit limit increase 🤣.

I could drink three drinks in 45 minutes also, but not if I was trying to enjoy the experience and enjoy my company and the atmosphere. I would have to actually make it a goal to accomplish that. It’s also borderline binge drinking, actually I think it might qualify as binge drinking.

What would Walt say about binge drinking in magic kingdom lol

I only got 1 drink but regretted it, should've gotten 2. Cups are small and full of ice. We got 2 alcoholic drinks, 1 non alcoholic and a coke ( a coke because DH cant handle alcohol and had to add his drink to coke to drink it) 😂 Our bill was $54. So yep pricey. We did not get food.

We’re going on a party night with a group of 11. From your observation, do you think we have a good chance to be seated? If not, it may be a hard sale to the parents of the kids who will be with me this trip.

Anyone try the food? I’d liked to make a meal of it, but wonder how they do that in 45 min?
This video shows them trying everything. They did have to have 2 reservations to get it done. Smallish bites appetizer style and only 3 options I think makes it quick. FYI watching video will have spoilers of the show.

We were there Tuesday, 11:20 am ADR. This is what I posted on the Coke products. thread. That thread asked if Coke products were available since they aren’t on the menu online. They aren’t on the in-house printed menu either. But I asked the server & they are available.

I asked when I checked in if we could be seated instead of standing, the CM was very nice, said she’d mark the request. We checked in right at our 11:20 ADR & we were called almost immediately. We were seated at a small table for 2 in the back. It was fine for us, nice & quiet. But couldn't really see any of the action. I could get up to look when I heard stuff start. But by the time I got there, it was over, lol.

We got sodas as well as the island provisions & Treasure Trove drink & sweets. We really liked the Island Provisions. The drink with the Treasure Trove was very sweet on its own. But once we started eating the provisions, they countered the sweetness very nicely. I actually ended up liking it with them. The sweets were Meh. The small chocolate ball was delicious, but the vanilla cake pop wasn’t. So we’d probably skip that the next time.

The restaurant is in 2 rooms. There is standing at the bar & along the back wall in that room. There was 1 long table there & a few others, including at least 1 booth. The 2nd room had some booths, a few 2 top tables, a few larger tables & a small counter along the room dividing wall/ windows that had stools to sit on. I definitely saw I table with 3 chairs at it. Different groups were seated on opposite sides of the booths. And at that huge table in the bar.

The 45 minutes did go quickly. We had plenty of time for our snacks. But I can’t imagine downing 2 drinks in that time frame. Knowing we can get Cokes with the provisions snacks, I’m sure we’ll go back.
