Coco beach or daytona for one afternoon , which is better and why.

Or is it way better and worth the hour longer trip tp clearwater just for one afternoon.

We just like to walk the uncrowded beach with nice sand maybe pick up some shells and walk in the shallow water parts, no swimming or surfing, maybe a restroom and changing area

I say it's worth the extra 45 minute to 1 hour drive to go to the Sarasota beaches. A lot of folks don't know that the white sand beaches of Sarasota are the same distance as the Clearwater Beaches because it's all easy and fast highway to the Sarasota area.

I suggest Venice Beach in Sarasota. Gorgeous and filled with shells and shark teeth!
