We have a couple of days free pre-Disney in 2 weeks and booked a hotel in Daytona Beach Shores to enjoy the beach and sand. However, it looks like the beach at our hotel has been pretty much washed away (the hotel is still in good shape and is open). Does anyone have any updates on what the beaches are like in the Daytona or Cocoa Beach areas? Any recommendations for areas or resorts/hotels where the beaches are still in good shape... and not too far away?
(And yes, I know it's late November.. I'm Canadian... if there's no ice, we'll swim).
